Guys i bought new swift 2015 model
I have heard alot of complains on this forum about rattling and tuk tuk and hard suspension i dnt know but in latest models 2015 ones pak suzuki has made suspension softer i had never any issue of hard suspension i drive corrola 2013 every day i see no difference in suspension and when i drive civic its much better than civic
About rattling i drove on the roughest roads possible and never had a rattle i think some swifts were made defected by pak suzuki and im really sad for people with that problem.

I agree.. Alhamdolillah my Swift is also as smooth as butter..
Suspension might be hard but it's always a trade off between comfort and control. Swift offers superb control and maneuvering on cost of suspension comfort. Opposite is for Corolla. Comfort level high on cost of lower control.

    Thumbs up for Swift..

Guys one simple question , which one has more control? Vitz, swift or city? And what's the difference between stiff and hard suspension?

I own a city and a swift so will only comment on these two.

Between these two (in stock condition) I find the swift to be more controlled. A main reason is the tire setup that comes from factory. City (base model) runs euro star tires which are not goid for gripping the road. Swift (dlx) comes with bridgestone so there is much more grip.

Those who have changed the stock tires of the city may provide better feedback on the resulting improved handling.

Stiif and hard suspension refers to the strut and spring setup restricting the pitch and roll of the car to improve handling.

Tyres are mandatory to change in all pkdm cars. Only swift ia coming with good tyres. General tyre is noisy and problematic no matter what happens. Not all cars across the globe have soft suspensions as its a personal choice of who likes which. I have seen a rolled down corolla many times but never saw a civic which close to twice speedy as corolla. Reason is bein lower and a slighly hard suspension. These are personal choices.

Tires on the City have been a major let down.

    Will be upgrading soon.

Stif suspension does nothing even a extremely stiff suspension can cause rollover the reason why you less crashed civic is civic have multi link suspension which reduce body roll the older civic older than 7 gen were pure love with double wishbone at front driving such civic feel like driving 10feet under the ground the older 4 gen civic even had a sway bar at rear the car had better road grip than same era accord and I am speaking with personal experience

Double wishbon had other advantages as well and even at the time of 6th gen when both front and rear had double wishbone ..people uaed to compare it with corolla. In Pakistan we have just 2 brands so competition makes sense. For some reason i never get corolla while corolla is favourite in my family. To me its purely personal opinion and choice

How can you install a double wish bone suspension at back? And why in the world would you the are non moving wheel and a sway bar is enough for them to keep them straight and not go in camber and there was no other advantage of double wish bone other than road grip there is reason they were put out of production the ey are heavy, expensive to produce, complicated to work on,slow down assembly line and the biggest one it take 4 time more space

    thx ...
I am thinking to get harder tires... Comfort might be an issue but the way I drive my swift grip would be top priority ..
How about I just get new bridge stone turanzas ..
I drive alone or with friends in my swift anyways (never take family out on swift) so comfort is not that big of an issue
