Then there was these two systems which seems to be chinese too but quality wise seemed Ok. I wanted either an Android based nav supporting google maps or Sygic app.

    The android one looks tempting

What price tag have they quoted? What features? Warranty? Any brand name or a random chinese company? Did you check the quality of the screen and sound or just the look of it?

Android one around 32k and there is no panel with it. Quality looks promising and company name is "Still Cool" Premier one comes with one year warranty and there is no warranty with Android one.

Thats a hefty price tag buddy. Wont want to spend that much on a chinese system. They are usually prone to software issues.

Yeah. Chinese brands should be around 20k as per market rates. But Pioneer and other good branded nav systems do not support Pakistan maps officially. So i am confused which brand to go for so that i can keep it for next 2-3 years without any issue.

Whichever you choose, i doubt it would last for that long. Unless you use it rarely :p

Why not try to hunt for a used oem navigation unit. I know its a long shot but there are people who would replace that with a pioneer or kenwood unit.

    Smart choice brother.

Would be a bit pricey though right?

Just a thought, since dvd and cd have gone obsolete (kind of) why not go for a used pioneer 7 inch screen player in which the cd lens has worn out. You may be able to get a killer deal. USB, Bluetooth and aux would be working fine, just the cd wont run.

    Should cost you under 20k.

I'm only getting 370-380km on full tank that's around 10km/liter mileage, any suggestions how to improve fuel efficiency.

    P.S. I use Hioctane+petrol in almost 50:50 ratio

Its all on your driving style brother..
keep the tire pressure 30.. check it regularly ..
    check air filter ..
    check spark plugs.
lastly, keep the rpms in 2-2.5k range,
Like a friend of mine says "drive like you have no brakes" meaning .. when you see that there is a stop light or traffic jam , you should lay off the accelerator pedal and let the car slow down on its own,
no sudden brakes no sudden accelerations.

I guess this is it , for me personally I used to drive it really fast when i got it gave me 10km/l then i tried a more subtle approch and the improvement was very little so i just drive like I normally do..
The person who said, " money can't buy happiness". Clearly didn't know where to shop.

Is this brand new Swift? If yes then wait till odometer reaches 5000 KMs. Before that, I would say its more or less normal. Car will adjust itself with time.

Tire pressure is kept 30 and checked every 2 weeks or so... Recently got air filter, spark plugs changed at 40k service by Islamabad motors.. I try to keep RPM under 2 previously (saw no improvement in mileage) but now try to keep it below 3 not above that... However I switch gears often, like for a 1km drive I switch up to 4th gear..

Also sometimes it get around 12km/l as well.. Can't figure out the reason behind it.
