Alhamdulillah bro achi jarahi hai abhi tak.

Had 2 complaints: (1) knocking at low revs; and (2) poor fuel economy (around 8 to 9 kmpl) even though the car is driven at under 3k rpms.

Went for the 10k kms service a bit earlier (around 9400kms) to margalla motors last friday. Told them the complaints. Alhamdulillah they managed to attend to them. Low rev knocking has been resolved with the advise that if it happens again, i should add a little hi-octane fuel to get rid of it (at about a 70:30 or 80:20 ratio).

I am pretty certain that the mileage will be back to the normal of about 10.5 to 11kmpl i used to get. But cant say much as the car has only been drive about 100kms since last friday :p

A friend of mine used to run 205 50 16 tires on his swift before he sold it off.

But on stock rims it'll be a bit much. 195s should be alright.

those idiots (suzuki guys) always ask " sir jee petrol kon sa dalvatay han " i said k mix dalvata hon then they ask " sir jee kon say pump se dalvatay han " . i was like k tumharay abba jee k pump se....
infact those idiots dont know why swift has a habbit of knocking .... if u put normal petrol in high compression engine it will give knocking sound eg. 2003 -2009 city.. but swift dont have high compression engine...
can u guys imagine my car gives annoying sound while pressing clutch and its only 6,200km driven.

in the absence of any QA law from government things like this will happen and people will continue to suffer.
no one knows how many more years will pak suzuki sell its crap at unjustified prices to the people of pakisan.
