I like the way this fan club is going, Once the Vitz owners club had a boom like this one, Its dead now,

Most of the new Swift owners have either considered Vitz, Or have changed to Swift from Vitz, If i had found one in my range i would maybe have preffered it too, But my range was limited and found a facelift Vitz in my extremly streched too thee limit range (890k),

So to every body who have shifted from Vitz to Swift, i wana ask hows the experience? Obviusly any thing is better to drive then a CVT plus Swift being 1328cc should be fun, Their is a little less leg space in the rear but its bearable, But what about the Suzuki quality?

Id like if someone would shed light, Or if their is somebody on the forum who owns both a Swift and a Vitz, Please mind it that wer comparing a 1.3 Swift with a CVT 1.0L Vitz, So Vitz is bound to be sluggish here.

But yes id like to high light that the Vitz is giving me around 13.5 km/L,(last recorded mileage 13.61) Does Swift manages to do that?

ive read @pakwheelsisbs comments they arent satisfactory or say detailed, because in his review his problem was parts other then that he said he liked it over the Swift.

This is no war, Just need to clear up someissues and if someday i get a chance should i go for a exchange of a Swift with my Vitz or in the long run Vitz would be better?
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

ok bro i have driven and kept my cozn's vitz 2008 for 4-5days so i know a little about vitz...power of swift and pick is just awesome...the car is stip and vitz is smooth.parts yes it is an issue of vits=z also with JDM swift you can get JDM parst for you PKDM swift the car has stiff suspension so it can hold alot of load better than an XLI .the interior quality is not than good as vitz Being a JDM so no PKDM reaches its standards...i am happy to answer any more Q??

^ Bro Rack and Pinion are gears that convert rotational motion to linear motion.
Swift has electric motor installed and hence has EPS
Cultus doesnt. But the steering of both cars is fundamentally the same. Just the EPS motor missing in cultus
Thats is what my understanding is

Its all about preference and budget. Mostly budget

If my budget is around a million and I am stretching it hard to get a Swift, then I would get Swift ONLY because
    1. zero meter (tension free 5 years)
    2. Swift fan (in love with the power, manual gear, shape..etc)

But if the above given 2 factors don't appeal to me much and I am ready to face the following two problems, I would go for Vitz
    1. Expensive parts (side mirrors theft is very common)
    2. Used (ODO tempered, unless self-import)

I am a hardcore Swift fan but I would agree
Comfort - Vitz (Swift - hard suspension)
Mileage - Vitz (Swift - push it too hard and it consumes like crazy)

Off all the replies, this one seems reasonable, Well to be honest i started with a budget of 6.5 lack for a Coure, started looking for a Mira, put in a few started finding Passo, (some how Passos shape didnt apeal me), Saw a add on Pakwheels for this Vitz, went there, deal dun dun london, i couldnt have possbily find a 2008 Vitz in 890,000 in open market so it was out of the question.

But fortunatly found one, (wo kehte haina ati woe hai jo naseeb mei ho), I did thought of Swift major reason being localy assembled mechanics avalible and being new, But a decent Swift under 50k driven 2010 isnt less then 940-960, So it was out of the question.

Im happy for now mashaAllah its been great, i have a 2002 Vitz since 2006, Alhamdulillah no issues infact havnt required anything uptill now just regular tuneup, service and brake pads.

This one ive bought is 2 years localy driven so lets see, How does it goes inshaAllah would be good,

About the Swifts shape, Ive loved it ever since its world premier in 2004, I hope Pakistani one is good enough and the suspension doesnt makes issues.

Yes the side view mirrors for this new Vitz are stolen like crazy, when i bought it, it had some nissans altered to it, got used ones from Sheirshan 10k a pair.,

About the spare part prices, the last Suzuki we had was a Baleno, Spares werent cheap or either not avalible, Im guessing Swifts spares shouldnt be cheap either,

(comparing Taiwan/Chinese/Thailand parts avalible for Swift and Vitz in the market)
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Same here man. Started with Mehran, was going to get the EuroII and then Alhamdolillah landed on Swift
Swift no doubt is awesome but the suspension is a bit stiff 'as compared' to Vitz. Otherwise it ain't that bad and has NO issues.
Swift parts are comparatively cheap but with the inflation levels prevalent in our country, I don't see any other car's parts being cheap except Mehran

The stiff suspension is good. And the stock is still very soft as compared to what quite a few people run.

A stiffer suspension has A LOT of benefits with the only sacrifice of some degree of comfort.

    High time people realize that.

The only bad thing I can attest to is the forcefully lifted front. You won't notice much in normal use but take the car to its limits and you will notice just how bad this inch or so of height is with respect to traction, road grip, braking and the overall intertia/body roll of the car.
