Since you have kept Swift for some time now help me in finding stuff for it. I need to change one fog light since it is all messed up due to rain water. Where can I find one fog light and what price should I be looking at ?
Do you have a soft copy of the owners manual ? I downloaded the workshop manual.
For stuff other than from the dealership, Plaza is the best place. @s_ruhail is the best person to guide for parts in that area. he has a contact too.

I don't but ill try looking for it and post the link her.

Yes Air Filter, Cabin Filter, Oil Filter and Engine Oil. Also get the car diagnosed by some technician who has OBD tools for it or else Suzuki Dealerships do it as well. Best place to get that is from the dealership or Plaza then.

    Anyone miss me? :p

Just went through the thread. Need to give a few quick replies.

The stud issue with Farhan, happened to me too with THE NUT ON. I had to drill the damn thing open but once the nut is removed, then its fairly straightforward. The disc is removed and a new stud is put in, its a quick job. But getting the worn out stud ka nut is the problem. Always stand above anyone who is refitting ur lug nuts. Make sure they fit them correctly, improperly fitted jammed lug nuts caused my studs to slip upon attempts to remove them later.

The person with the heating up issue, either top your coolant up or get radiator flushed and put in new coolant if the problem persists. You seem to have an air pocket in your cooling system, which should go away if u let ur car cool down when it heats up like this once or twice at Max.

Also, khuda k liye don't put wd40 on ur discs. Farhan has been pretty lucky. Wd40 is immensely lubricating and the braking system works on the principle of friction i.e the pads gripping the disc to cause friction to slow wheel rotation. Lubrication will severely hamper this, no wd40 on discs please!

Try getting your injectors cleaned ultrasonically and check all your sensors, also check for any air leaks in your air filter assembly. Have it scanned to check if there are any codes.
I can't live without AC and I get 12-14 still after 94000kms, so if a mechanic tells u otherwise put him in his place.

Its not very expensive, visit your nearest suzuki dealership and ask them for a cabin filter/dashboard k peechay wala AC filter. It filters out a lot of things from external hawa (dust, pollen, even fragments of leaves in my case) so get it soon. Should cost around 1000-1500rs.

Check the user manual that comes with the car..for the headlights, u have the correct bulb i.e 60/55w H4.
If u can't find it in the user manual, just take out a bulb from the fog and see what's written on it. Wattage should definitely be mentioned and all this will hardly take two mins.

Studs are the bolts which are Fixed. Like the four studs on which wheels are mounted and nuts are tightened to secure all 4 whrels.

Also i cleaned and oiled k&n filter on my swift. it got dirty in 10k kms maybe because it is small in size. Lets see what difference it makes.
