What amazed me the most was the fuel average on the way to Islamabad, 18kmpl at speeds between 110-130 with ac on!

Here are some pics of my spark plugs on 1st tuning and a pic of me getting the car stuck under a Rock lolName: ImageUploadedByPW Forums1380702315.105420.jpg

Going there now to fix the door&trunk rubber seals, they all leak
And there is NO mirror in the passenger sun visor thingy!

That's a good thing. The ladies will now sit straight rather than distracting you with their prettying up.

The ladies start using the rear view mirror which is a hazard considering the time they take just looking at themselves

I had same plugs condition with my car. Why is that. anyone suggest any remedy for that? one mechanic said it is due to irregular flow of current. the coils were ok however. any suggestions?

    @c4capricorn,
I think it is because swift only has 2 coils and more load is put in them.

Hope an expert can clarify this

    Default 100,000 Kms completed

So finally i achieved a milestone. 100,000 Kms .Is there anyone one here who has done this ??

And what a journey it has been. Absolutely loved every Km i driven in my swift. Bought on 20th April,2010 below are some stats:

    • Total Kms driven = 100529

    • Total days since purchase = 1262

    • Average drive/day = 80 Kms

    • Average drive/month = 2400 Kms
    • Total fuel consumed = 7733 litres (estimate on the basis of 13 Km/l)
    • Total cost on fuel = 700,000 (Estimate on average price of around 91 Rs)

In all this time, experienced no issue in the car. Never had a stalled car on the road. Only things replaced were 2 tyre bearings and those too were changed in warranty. Got my tyres changed on 60,000(stocks were changed to Bridgestone BX350, i wanted the Turanzas but they were not available. From start used ZIC XQ and found it to be good. Plugs changed from start to iridium Denso IK20 and later autolite XP3923. Changed the air filter to K&N but later reverted to stock . Never got average below 12.5 and usually 12.5-14 in city and 14-15 on highway(as i always drive in 120-140 range there).
And after all these years and 100,000 Kms , am still addicted to its drive and drive for atleast 15 Kms each day after office hours. Have got the means to buy a higher end car now but just can't let it go.....May be if Swift sport is launched here i will go for that.

Congrats on the milestone @Sdogar .
A perfect avg ruined thanks to idiot pumps and there fraud schemes..managed to get 455.6km on 65% fuel ..but my father needed the car as our gli (dads car) was in workshop .on the way back my father filled her up for me and when I saw the avg I just wanted to puke 10km/l...sadly my dad forgot the amount of liters added ...when I went to another pump the car was only 5km driven after refuelling found out that the pump guys ate out 7 liters of fuel....I really hate this countries hunger for money..
