Yes, normal in the weather these days. Always check and top up with green coolant and you will be fine. No water please, and no NASA or OSAKA coolant.

What modifications are recommended for better fuel economy?

    Plugs, air filter etc.

I am using Caltex fully synthetic 5w-30 engine oil atm, and i would like the fuel economy to be a bit better

I guess it has something to do with the break-in period as engine i facing more friction once the running is completed you will notice the difference...

I'm humbly awaiting recommendations from my fellow thread members!

I Love my swift, but there are just two things that really bug me and i just can't get to look away from them anymore.

    1. LIGHTS - they suck big time, 50W light bulbs produce ZERO light and visibility is just pathetic. (Recommendations please as to what to do with it, replacement brands and models and availability and price. etc)

    2. The springs - the car is under alot of DRAG because of they front springs lifting the car higher than the rear springs and the whole stance of the car is front up and rear dip, i believe it should be the other way around!! (recommendations please as to how to correct this masla)???

Lights are Ok, I'm running Phillips Rally bulbs with relay and they are pretty good. They are double the power of stock.

Find a way to lower the front

U will scerw up the handling and ride if u lower the front. At braking front of the car is supposed to dip for traction. If u lower it, weight distribution will change, it wont dip and stay flat in hard braking. In simle words u will end up with same brakes as corolla XLi from 2002 onwards model (The fat one). cornering and braking which are very good in swift will both be compromised.

About lights, they are adequate in my opinion.

The weight distribution is ruined as is. I'd advise you to check an actual JDM Swift or even check pictures of Swifts around the world to find out what the stance of the car was, factory spec.

PakSuzuki has raised the front by more than an inch to make the car speed breaker and pothole resistant, ruining the weight distribution and handling.
What you experience is severely hampered and toned down handling and cornering.

We as consumers are used to body roll and handling that is not snappy at all, which is why we find the Swift so good despite its compromised performance.

Mine is lowered from the front only, the stance is still slightly higher than factory spec in Japan or Europe, but I wish I could tell you the difference in braking and cornering it has made.
Additionally, the front is so raised that rear view visibility is also not as it should be.

Once you experience a car with a proper stance, only then will you see all the small improvements and all the major differences in the performance/stance of the car.

    :-)

I was in Islamabad at night with a friend on lehtrar road and my friend advised me to drive fast since it was 2am at night.
Suddenly a speed breaker appeared and I braked hard, very hard.

Now, I could feel that the pedal is touching the road or something else is scraping the road, not sure if abs kicked in or something....

Query: when brakes are applied, are both rear and front used or only front ones?
And Suzuki swift should've been 4 wheel disk brake tbh

And the head lights suck big time not sure why lol.
