Things i hate in my swift (13model dlx):
    1: side mirrors are non-retractable.
2: why the hell driving side window doesn't have "auto UP" feature when it have "auto DOWN" feature.
    3: no light in boot.
4: exposed sensors and ECU in engine bay.
5: no remote with the Pre/Headunit....nahiyat he "chawal" pre ha DLX ki..

    Paksuzuki should control these

I have 2012 model Swift DX version. Someone to please guide me on the brand of remotely controlled central locking device/security system that is best suited for this model of swift and off course the recommended shop, place or mechanic in Lahore for this purpose.

1 u should be thankful once the side mirrors get hit the motors or the gears get broken and u will have to replace them.
    2. In the process of finding a remedy for it..
3 Put in bright LEDs with a switch in the right side of the boot
4 ECU does not need cover as the plugs and grips are from lower side
    5 I have a Pioneer pre..

At least Swift has plastic that covers the boot lid, seen a Corolla boot lid?

And, for some reason, i find Swift more wide at the drivers seat than Corolla- is it because corolla door has more material used on it?

For the side-view mirrors, i don't mind, i've hit enough people with them that don't bother moving out of the way, fun everytime

window auto down and not auto up? that is more likely a safety feature. Kids love these kind of windows, and god forbid if their hand/finger gets stuck inside. Yes it's annoying. Hopefully someone finds a solution soon

Re lights, ecu and HU- No other PKDM car has that(please correct me) and corolla don't even have a ecu cover. at least the grips are under it! Does city come with a cabin air filter? nope. And for HU, i believe the speakers+ HU is better than Corolla.

I love my Swift, and it's already 9000km driven. Got it on 5th September 2013. I enjoy the ride!

    Default New Member, seeks help.

Assalam o alaikum everyone, so good to see so many experienced community members here to seek help from.

Well, I own a white color 2011 DLX and recently shifted lahore and as its a new city for me I need to ask who's the best denter/painter ... who is best mechanic and where is the best market to shop for car gadgets?

Moreover, I need to know some info about car key lock. Its not very responsive, can we replace and get new remote easily? (P.S) I tried using new battery but it doesn't help.

    Thanks,

    Faizan.

    Salam friends,

I have been facing an issue from last couple of days, i own a suzuki swift 2010 Dlx.
The cold start in the morning is been producing a weird noise from engine bay like some sort of grinding noise now if i press the clutch the noise will go away, when the car gets to its optimum temperature you can't hear anything and it works just fine for the rest of the day.

As per the mechanics i have visited they checked the gear oil which it up to the mark ( Gear oil changed at 40k now its 50k Driven)
and as per them its a common issue in FWD (specially in VRX) in winters as oil get to the bottom of a tranny and produces this noise.

Kindly suggest if any of you faced the same issue or what i can do to further investigate the issue.

    Thanks in advance.
    Numan.
