Thumbs up Installing CNG on Suzuki Swift with Lambda Control system LC 01

I would like to share my exp of installing CNG kit in Swift

I thank to the person who has mentioned about the LR authorized dealer in <st1:place title=" - st1place alt" alt=" border=" 0?>Islamabad, I went to there office and on inquiring they told me that LR is manufacturing a dedicated box for swift which includes all the essential parts for CNG

They took 1 week for delivery of box from Karachi to Islamabad, I took the box and cylinder from them that includes

LR CNG Kit
LR Emulator LR27
LR Advancer STAP 600
LR LAMBDA control system LC 01
Venturi – Specially designed for swift by LR
All the wiring, gauge, nuts, bolt, pipe each and everything
LR Pen and key chain (Complementary Gift)
Dealer told me that there is only one workshop in pindi – <st1:City w:st="[/IMG]<st1:place">Islamabad that is PAKISTAN CNG in I-9 which install lambda system and it is also recommended by LR itself.

[FONT=/>

I took the cylinder and box to him and they install everything in 4 hours and took 2k for stand which is specially designed for swift without doing any drill holes etc and 4.5K for installation.

The pick on petrol is reduced to 8% because of the weight of cylinder and air blockage by venturi, on CNG pick has reduced to 15% as compared to petrol, moreover I can easily accelerate the car in 2nd gear with rpm 5 along with AC. Overall I am very satisfied by the pick and drive on CNG

All the settings are done computerized by LR software and through LC 01, there is no problem of check light at all as all of the sensors are controlled by LC 01.

Mileage will be shared later as I have just installed a day before.

Finally got some pictures...

Default Why CNG?

Why Install CNG on swift? :O
AlhamduLillah i am getting around 15-16 km/l in city with my swift
You are ruining your swift experience with CNG, as i think petrol has no match(pick etc), my personal opinion

Guys - Latest feedback
I filled my empty tank last wednesday.
it Cost Rs.480/- with 7.8KG gas due to low presure at pump i.e. 180 bar.
anyhow i drove total distance of 208KM within city (Islamabad).
Max speed i have drove on was 95KM/hr with 2.5RPM. never went above 2.5RPM.

Conclusion: It has done Rs.2.3/KM - quite impressive

Awesome. Why feed it petrol when this is practically achievable.

@Farhan
I have placed spacers above the shocks which lift the rear to its original position. There is no space after cylinder installed at trunk, speakers board is removable but never removed ever. As already mentioned earlier that my daily mileage is almost around 70-80KM. This is the main reason i have installed CNG. i dont need trunk much. It works perfect on CNG.
did you feel any difference after installing spacers in rear shocks? I mean difference in comfort. Coz I have heard from someone that spacers annoy on bumpy roads. Is it so?
Also please share the cost of installtion and from which shop you got spacers?
Thanks.

Please explain to me Umair bhai how did you recover your CNG kit cost in 4 months? ( CNG kit pe total expense kitna aya? )
well anyways, good for you. But for me, i have driven my swift 1400 something KM in about 5 months, so CNG can't do much savings for me even if what people claim is true

Mujtaba, it is very simple to calculate the CNG kit cost recovered, as i have already mentioned that around 10k to 15k is saving each month on CNG as compared to petrol, lets take
my monthly mileage is 2000KM
if i drove on pertol, it will cost Rs.16,800 per month. the stats which i applied is "Petrol price: Rs.101/Ltr -Mileage: 12KM/Ltr - Per KM: Rs.8.4"
if i drove on CNG, it will cost Rs.4,600 per month. the stats which i applied is "CNG price: Rs.61.64/KG - Per KM: Rs.2.3"

Net Saving per month: Rs.12,200/-
CNG Kit Cost: Rs.50,000
Cost recovered period: 4 Months

Done

@sk_king: you can get the spacers from Dora shocks wala at saddar rawalpindi, it will cost Rs.1,500/- and your car will lift upto the original position, never experienced any problem even on bumpy roads.

Bro, i talked to the LR Team in karachi. they told me that it will cost u around 75K now to install complete LR Kit including one full cylinder. another thing which must be clarified that the pick issue & mileage is achieved with a combination of good performance parts i.e. IZFR6J11 NGK or IK20 Denso Spark Plugs, K&N air filter and last but not the least a light foot. Never assume that u'll get that average right after spending 75K. there is an other expense of NGK @ 7.5k or IK20 @ 4.6k + K&N filter @ 5k + Cleaning Kit @3k and change of driving habbit.

@ Sdogar & Umair bhai correct me if i m wrong in any sense......
