The bridgestone Turanza on your car are better then the Db's any day, It is a good quality high end tire, Hence the DX gets DB while DLX gets Turanza
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Aoa Adeel...I have owned both DX and DLX and i can confidently tell you the Yokohama Decibels are much softer than the Turanzas. Even Pak Suzuki dealers say that the DBs are better than the tranza. My suggesion is that DBs would make the drive much better. Go for them
The Bigger they are, the Harder they fall

^ No wonder general tires are hard, For Pakistani road conditions Bridgestones are better tires, Their is a differnce of price because of the similar reason, If you only want soft tires then go for Dunlops, (worst tires ever) and would be cheaper then the Bridgestones and Yoko Dbs

Bhai G, my honest and humble opinion for you is that don't change the stock tyres of ur car. Euro star hotay to baat thi because in case of those, kiss your drive comfort good bye. Secondly, you can't trust eurostars from the factory because they're purchased in bulks and stay in storage spaces for prolonged time periods in conditions that aren't even close to optimum.

Your case is a bit different, the tyres are imported, not locally made and they are much better, well technically, any tire is better than eurostar, lolz.

The extra 30k expenditure is pointless. Stick with these tyres for as long as they last. If you aren't a keen observer or extremely nazuk mizaaj, you won't feel much difference between turanza and dBs.

The have the option to get the tyres relaced with DX's Yokohamas free of cost directly from the Showroom.

So price is not an issue here. The only point which I wanna be sure of is that are Turanzas really better than Yokohama db.

I have gone through various threads at pakwheels on this... but no conclusion so far.

This is y I wanna to be very sure that I am making the right decision on this offer from the Showroom.

    Thanks.

Are those yokohama dB or advan dB?

If they're advan dB v551, go for them without a second thought!

    Stick with turanza.

Though if you're getting newer yokohamas, I mean with production date around 6 months or more later than the turanza, go for the dBs.

i would like to disagree here bro. there is a difference of oceans between Eurostars and Yokohamas. i m using Advan dbs in my 2012 City, i live in the same city and u r most happily invited to test drive my car after driving urs the road grip, the level of noise and specially the comfort level in the stiff suspension of city is way way better than the stocks. i still remember back in june when i got the delivery from Islamabad, the moment i came out on the road, i got the shock of my life when my city started rattling like crazy on the road. luckily, my advan dbs were in the boot at that times to which i shifted the moment i reached pindi....just 50 meters on the new tyres, there was a speed breaker. my dad was with me, and even he went like "aasmaan zameen ka farq hey" .....so in short, to say that its just chonchlay is absolutely not correct sir jee...i repeat, u r welcome to try my car any day, any time
