Question How to wash Swift engine

    Hello folks,
I recently bought a Swift and the engine bay is really dirty, i need to get it serviced, i usually get my cars engine washed by high pressure water including efi 660's with their ECU's in engine and never faced any problem Alhamdulillah.
now i have heard that Swifts engine cant be washed with water, is that true? , iv'e seen many swifts getting serviced and they never had a problem, should i get it washed with high pressure water? will it create any problem?
Looking forward for ur urgent replies as i gotta get her cleaned before Eid,
And i don't trust 3S for car maintainence

Use engine degreaser to clean it
Or if very urgent and degreaser
    not available use simple water
First clean it with pressure air .wash it with help of
water spray then clean it with microfibre towel repeat that 2 3 tyms and engine will be cleaned.
And yes high pressure water is prohabitated for its engine

bro i live in an environment where washing engine at home won't be an easy task,
shall i hand over the car to the service guys and tell them to clean it with low pressure water?

i got swift and get it serviced at least once a month ... i always ask them (service station staff) to wash engine thoroughly as i like clean engine bay .. sometimes i tell them to secure coils with plastic shopper or clothes but mostly i forget no problems so far .. this i've been doing since 2007 from the first efi (with sensor) car and that too a santro where it is clearly written in urdu to not wash engine with pressure .. so i guess no harm in washing engine with pressure water as long as u take little precaution of securing coils ... i personally believe even wrapping coils in plastic or cloth is not necessary but never had the courage to take any risk .. i can post engine bay pics if u want

I my self love a clean engine bay, i also get it serviced once in a month, i had be washing all my Efi cars from chevy and even jdm alto which has its ecu in the engine bay but never had a problem, i never bothered covered the coils or ecu, i just read about the swift warning thingy so thought that i should ask,
I guess i should just cover the coils and ecu in plastic and get it serviced.
    Thanks for ur help,

With engine degreaser u will be able to remove dust from engine bay as it degrease the dust
If im not wrong it is used with water
spray degreaser with water on engine bay on every corner, leave it for 5 to 10 mins then start cleaning with help of a brush then wash it with water

I washed my swift engine using low pressure water and didnt pour it over electrical parts. Used foam sponge to clean the metallic body parts around engine bay and undrr the hood

Then rinsed and repeated. Didnt throw water on ecu etc.

Cleaned battery and also sprayed on radiator for bugs etc.

Degreaser hota tu easier hota. Will buy some soon from ahmed bhai

use air blower to get rid of dust, make solution [ 30:70 ratio / or 40:60 as the bay condition ] of lemon max in water as de-greaser shampoo and use low pressure gun to spray degreaser leave for 15 minutes before scrubbing maximum parts wash with water. blow dry for 15 minutes specially electrical stuff.

so it is blow job before shampoo wash & blow dry
