Question How to wash Swift engine

    Hello folks,
I recently bought a Swift and the engine bay is really dirty, i need to get it serviced, i usually get my cars engine washed by high pressure water including efi 660's with their ECU's in engine and never faced any problem Alhamdulillah.
now i have heard that Swifts engine cant be washed with water, is that true? , iv'e seen many swifts getting serviced and they never had a problem, should i get it washed with high pressure water? will it create any problem?
Looking forward for ur urgent replies as i gotta get her cleaned before Eid,
And i don't trust 3S for car maintainence

I prefer caltex havoline and shell hx-5 over zic, since zic is now mostly fake ..

    just a simple check ...

usually, the red colored oils are changed after 3k mileage and yellow colored after 5k, then there is a fully synthetic which we can use till the car has done some 50k (though its changing interval is 7-10k) .. use any of the semi synthithic or fully synthetic with original filter but do it in day light hour .. when the oil is being poured in engine look for greenish shade in it ... if it has a slight greenish shade, it is fake ... i buy oil from metro or a quality caltex pump and never got any problems ..
Thanks, thinking to go for Caltex this time, before i always used PSO but i feel they aren't good, I would be getting it changed from Caltex Khe-Bukhari Opp Ali Masjid, Do u know if they sell genuine oil?

    Did you do it yourself.
The paint on the side is side is unevenly shiny so I have a feeling that youve sprayed oil/diesel/poison..
Yes i did it my self, I went to a friends house who has a pressure washer, we both cleaned our rides together, the method of cleaning engine was solution of lemon max in water as a degreaser as suggested by capsat and it did the job well
well atleast it is better than oil
