Swift and economical ? Are you serious. Swift and City are two extremely opposite cars. Especially when it comes to fuel economy, swift is known as a fuel guzzler while City is the most fuel efficient local car out there . I used to have a swift and sold it in 3 months because my daily usage is about 120-150kms and swift used to give me 9-10kmpl in city with ac and 10-11 on long and trust me it wasn't economical at all although fuel prices are low now but that won't be too long when they start hiking soon . My city gives me around 14-15kmpl in city and 16-18kmpl on long routes, and yes i have calculated it through tank to tank method .
So i bought Honda City facelift brand new in 2015 end , it doesn't feel heavy at all . Ive been using it on stock tyres from day 1 and its 31k driven now . I am completely satisfied with it , comparing to swift it has better grip , fuel economy , better looks and build quality obviously , suspension is almost same of both cars . , engine is extremely responsive not as fast as swift thou but trust me it does the job very well . Hope you get an idea .
My vote is to increase your budget and go for a brand new Honda City base model or get a Local wagon r new . I won't suggest getting a used car as your first .
