Guys .. What is the point where your RPM stays when you start the car and idle it. I feel mine is supposed to stay at 1 exactly but it's a bit low.
Please check yours and reply.

Your ideal rpm is just right m13a ideals below 1k rpm 750-800 rpm

its perfect. mine is also same. without AC it stays between 750-850. with AC it stays between 850-1000
perfect...mine is 750 to 800 without ac and with ac 1200

Hello. Wasjust reading thia old thread. My auto swift RPM in normal temperature at N or P position is around 750 - 800 BUT When i apply brakes on signals on D, dont shift to N n just wait keeping press the brakes.. it gets to exact 600 and i feel slow vibration. Is it normal? All this in without ac
does same happens when head lights are on or in any electric load?
Head lights on or off... Same in both cases.. May be a very very little difference. Also with ac its idle at N or P is 850 to 900 in hot weather and at D its 700 to 750..

Well i havnt tested it yet.. Will do that tommorow. You mean... Stop n keep apply foot on brake pedal with D and turn on n off my headlights to check the difference?

Yes only on D or D 1 2 3 or Rwhateve while i stop the car and keep my foot on brake pedal. Very silent and normal in N or P
what is the condition of gear oil?
Atf changed just 3000 km ago.. Was same before and after changing. I checked the lights on n off thing. Yes the RPM drops about 50 to 100 less when i swich on the lights while keeping foot on brakes in D123n R.. Situation actualy get improve if i switch on the AC with lights it gets smooth and normal
as much as i understand from what you said. your car's ecu is not reacting to electronic load, it can be IAC but as rpm doesn't drop by switching on the AC then there's problem with the ELS connections. does you done any work or had given to any mechanic before the problem started?
Thanks for your reply hassan.i really appritiate. No i havnt done any kind of electric work or modification. The car never went to mechanic for any electrical problem till yet... Just got the throttle body serviced at 75000 km two month ago.. Not due to this thing just a general service to improve the acceleration reaponse etc. but actually it didnt made any difference to this issue as it is actually from quite somtime but was v less and didnt feel at start cause it just dropped from 800 to 700 at tht time which didnt made any difference to feel. slowly now i can feel light vibration in engine so it took my notice as now it drops bit more with my pedal on foot in idle.i.e 800 to abt 650 600
No problem.Actually it's look to me that problem is related to transmission. because somehow if ecu is not reading the load signals then same drop should be happen at neutral. but in your case it happens only when car is in gear. it's like on pressing pedal transmission is not getting free though it has to. can be related to torque converter.
I think i can understand what your trying to say.car actually feel like still in load on brakes in idle. Will keep your suggestion in mind n get it checked by dealership... I hvnt done any nasty thng with transmission... Bht pyar sa e chlai ay aj tk. .. Finget crossed theres nothng serious
