I know a guy in Sultan-ka-khu who runs his shop by the name of Suzuki House opposite to PSO petrol pump.
The headlight switch of my car was giving the same problem and I got it done from him and its working fine.
The new ones are damn expensive.
If you want more info about him then I can give you his number.
He is a bit expensive but he knows his work very well.
I will visit Kuh Sultan in a day or two. Have to find 2 original wheel covers as they were fallen during my visit to Jhang. I will also try to find Ventilators in a reasonable price, if possible.

How much money Suzuki House guy took from you to repair those switches?

What is the price of these brake pads? You changed the pads for all the four wheels? Or just front ones, as they suffer more wear and tear as compared to the rear ones.

I dont remember the price now.
I got it done almost a year ago.
About wheel covers try to get the original ones.
DONOT go for the new set of 4 available in 12".
I tried it and the quality was so pathetic that it broke during fitting.

These are for the front brakes.
Rear ones are different as there are drum brakes at the rear.
I changed the front ones and the cost was Rs.600 without the clips and Rs. 900 with the clips.
I changed the clips and paid Rs. 900.

Well..... the MK company brake pads also costed me 550 Rs without the clips. Why you needed clips? Where were the old ones?

About wheel covers.....yes I know that the new ones are very pathetic. They can not withstand even the lightest jumps. I will try to find original ones, as most of the people remove them as they install alloys.

Following are pics of my Suzuki Khyber. It is 2000 model.
As far as exterior/paint is concerned, it is totally genuine. Not even touching.
The engine got over hauled last year, as it was consuming oil. But now its running absolutely smooth.
It is my trustworthy partner for the last 10 years

A small amount of engine oil is leaking from the four nuts which hold the tappet cover. Although it is not a big issue but it irritates me even if there is a small problem with my car.
The mechanic told me to change the tappet cover washers. These washers have rubber attached beneath them which prevents the oil leakage. Normal rubber can not withstand the high temperature of tappet cover. I had been trying to find them for a month but was not able to find them. Today luckily I found them from Kiyani Autos, Gawalmandi, Rawalpindi. I will change them tomorrow morning.

I have changed them today. I hope that there will be no leakage now as the previous washers were left with very less rubber. I will tell you about leakage after driving the car for a week or so.

    Hello all,

    1. My speedometer is not stable (it waves too much), even if I have replaced the cable, & mechanics say it is bolted perfectly in the meter cluster. what is the solution?

    2. The temperature gauge is not working properly, I have changed the thermostat in the engine bay, still it hardly rises to quarter of an inch. The internal gauge is working properly as we have tested the cable which connects to sensor in engine bay, touching it to Hot areas, it shoots up the internal gauge. I still don't have proper idea of my car's temperature. What is the solution?

    3. The steering has become very light, after Camber setting, but it wobbles the steering on the bumpy roads, & tires feel detached as they move the direction of the steering wheels half a inch on every bump. What is the solution.

    Kindly help.
I'm struggling to please ALLAH, I'll suggest you do the same.
