2005 Suzuki Reno is equipped to compete with the likes of the Chevrolet Aveo, the Ford Focus, the Hyundai Elantra, the Kia Spectra and the Scion xA and xB. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, a stereo with cassette and CD players, cruise control, power door locks, power mirrors, tilt steering wheel, floor mats and a timed rear window defroster. But what's unusual are the upscale touches that we don't often see in this vehicle class, including steering wheel controls for the audio system, heated exterior mirrors, 15-inch aluminum alloy wheels, a center passenger adjustable rear headrest, dual height and lumbar adjustments for the driver's seat and front underseat storage bins. Options include a power sunroof, leather interior upholstery and front fog lamps. On the safety front, the Reno provides four-wheel disc brakes, with an optional ABS augmented by electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).
Indeed it look very nice and by the looks of it, it seems that suzuki is following the right path. but uless suzuki is really going to launch it no one can give expert opinion on the performance (i.e. engine , safety, etc) of this car.
We have to remember that car makers can make crapiest of the car and on the motor show they can say what ever they like but the true picture comes infront of every one once the car is being tested but different independet authorities around the world. So if saying if it will replace Swift GTI or not we have to wait for its sports model to be launched and tested.
Also with the above std equipment level this car will be around Rs:7-8 Lakhs minimum in pakistan.
well u never know whats under the hood as for lancer i didnt know that it had only 120HP but the torque is quite impressive its around 175Nm.
Suzuki reno will have 177.6Nm of torque. So its gonna be the car for the ppl who r young at heart and low on money.
