The licensing fee would be adjusted by the savings they make in terms of less tax/duty on the 1.5ltr engine. USA and other countries always get many trim level while we always have been stuck with 2.
The problem I see is that 1.8 oriel and the turbo oriel would cost the same if the only difference is the engine, they'd have to offer some extra goodies in the turbo version to justify the extra cost, otherwise it won't make sense.
If top of the line model with all the bells and whistles can cost only 27 lacs in Australia, then we can have 1.5T CVT oriel(with far less goodies compared to international models) for 24 lacs here. Now, It's a different debate whether Atlas would exploit lesser informed Pakistani public and charge 30 lacs for it, or not.
