No, Its DCT which stands for Dual Clutch Transmission. DCT has actual gears and the shifting is very smooth and fast that you don't feel when it shifts. Its auto with benefits of manual and auto.

Any experts cud shed a bit of light on the fact that .. 1.8 being the same engine as for 9th gen .. But now with bigger frame and heavier body .. Cvt yes .. But only auto being the option with no paddle shift .. How the performance might be ?
Ex factory price was 2386k last year

Thank you bro!
I agree, I have a DSG with paddle shift on my cars and I think not used it even once...
This going to be a disaster for Honda Atlas. They will not exist in the market with this price tag. Else, they should consider to introduce a base model in range of 22 lacs.
CITY is already 8 year old model and now this expansive model of CIVIC.
The newer body is bigger but 30 kg lighter than previous generation. Its not heavier from 9th.
Most of body panels are of ultra strength light steel. 30 Kg is major difference . Paddle shift with CVT is more of "shashka" as I can tell you.
Whats the registration cost for 1.8 civic in Islamabad ?
Sunroof should also be optional.
If they price the 1.8 higher they will have the option to see how the market reacts and maybe introduce another stripped down version of 1.8 in a lesser price. If toyota goes ahead with the plan to introduce Vios in 1300 category and start Corolla from 1600cc then that day is not far when we start buying local vehicles in the 3 mil range.
The car is almost 30 kilograms lighter not heavier by utilizing higher grade steel. It is also half an inch lower which will improve handling characteristics a bit. The CVT helps to keep RPMs low and maintain good throttle response while maximizing fuel economy. A CVT has no gears, paddle shift will be a waste because you'll be playing with fake gears. In all, the performance will be better in my opinion.
Thanks Also to fazal bhai
The new red color is cool but I don't know the black grill looks blahhh!
