I highly doubt that HAPL will use these forums to judge the launch price. The only issue is that now most will go for 1.8 and that will open up slots for the Turbo version availability .
This is indeed a very steep price point making turbo only for those who can shell out the 2.9 million and get regular supply of HOBC. I personally don't believe that it will sell much. A few die hard fans will go for it but due to the aforementioned two points it seems like it won't be a commercial success. Personally I will now go for the corolla grande as it's a better deal overall. I have been a Toyota corolla customer since long, never owned a Honda and was waiting for this model to finally switch but turns out that the price difference for the turbo is too high for me to be able to afford it. Very sad indeed but I would really like that at this price point its not a success for HAPL so that they price it appropriately in future. Basically the marketing people had a golden opportunity to capture a lot of market unfortunately I don't think they will be very successful with the Turbo.
