I wrote a big a** comment as to why regardless of all the this hoola.....one should still go for honda civic 1.8 instead of grande. But then I realised last time i tried talking some sense i was dubbed as passing on negativity. :-/
Civic higher end model has always been more expensive than corolla's higher end product. So a price difference of atleast 100 to 150k was expected. But a difference of 200k or above is a bit ridiculous. The final price should come down to the last part of 2.4 million for the 1.8 CVT. As we are a country who like to round of to nearest whole number.....a price 2.56 million will be called 2.6million and a price tag of 2.65 million will be considered 2.7 million and so on.
Civic will still be the better car incomparison to grande in many regards.
Im actually really happy with what has happened to all the ones who booked 1.5t without knowing actual prices or without even looking at the Pakistan assembled civic. This experience should knock some sense into blind consumerism.
Yes i know u all earn for urself and live for urself. And yes honda is here to earn profits. But seriously.......our country wont change unless we change. NO CONSUMER IN THEIR RIGHTFUL MIND CAN JUSTIFY THE PRE BOOKING FIASCO.
Kher hate me all u want to ( the ones who got 1.5t booked) but im really glad how they got duped by HONDA ATLAS.
P.s its Ramzan, i will still pray that things turn around for all of u and you some how get a good product which has no issues running on normal petrol ( though i highly doubt that). Lekin dua denay mein koi harj nahi.
Im sorry for spreading negativity. But its the harsh reality.
