I don't know about that, but I know that the power band on this car is very wide which is good. High torque at low rpm is very good. This means your engine doesn't have to rev very high to get best out of your engine.
Here is an example that I have experienced. My 2.4 ltr camry would go pretty fast when I'd be the only one in the car. Acceleration response for 0-60km would be good, but when I had the car full with my friends, it'd struggle. Same goes for my 3.0ltr Camry V6.
But that wasn't the case with my Holden 3.8 ltr V6 or the 4.0ltr Ford Falcon. Extra weight wouldn't effect it's acceleration because these engines had a lot more torque compared to toyota's.
