Update I wanted to share.
I had a detailed telephonic conversation with customer service Honda North America a short while ago. In Colorado as its mountainous region at higher elevations pumps still sell 85 which means RON 89. I asked if I use 85 being in Denver , Colorado. She put me on hold for 5 minutes to get it checked with the concerned people. I was told very clearly, No matter whichever State you live, US 87 is minimum required. I was told same as we have discussed here on this thread numerous times. Honda North America representative was very clear about it, "using lower grade fuel than required will adversely effect Honda vehicle" .
In Colorado 85 is minimum but 87 is available on every pump. In fact all pumps across nation carry three grades no matter you go anywhere.
I know the fuel discussion is very boring but I had some info so I thought share it here
