So mean on part of Honda in this age giving steel rims on Civic. Toyota gives alloys on all 1.8 trims, no matter it is hardtop or sunroof.
Honda is very impressed from Sohail Warraich therefore a true believer of Khula Tazaad. Hence the Tazaad of Alloys and Steel Rims is necessary between base model and upper trims to show that Khula Tazaad
Guys didn't they offer Alloys on all VTi trims regardless of Oriel or Hardtop till 2006?
Yes I had eagle eye VTI hardtop...it had alloy rims.

I guess you are right.

It is not tazad but chor bazari. 20 lakh plus dee gaddi tay "allow" koi naheen, wat vee Honda hee lesan BTW distinction can be made with a stickers.
I feel distinction could be made by giving different pattern and quality of rims
Not just the stickers, I think the presence of an actual physical sunroof itself shouts the distinction[emoji14]
I wonder what on earth possessed them to remove it from a superior newer more expensive model. May whoever floated this idea of removing alloys as a result degrading the VTi compared to past rot in the hottest tandoor of this country.
Yes sadly have to live with it till some insan ka bacha comes from seventh sky and makes things right -- not in our lifetime perhaps. Born in a wrong patch of planet earth
But the issue is Honda is doing this in other regions too [emoji50]
Meanwhile Phillipines has followed us after 10 years naming it Civic Reborn now
Base USDM 2L LX.. on the road is above 21K.. no moon roof, no alloys, no push button start.. but you get standard same passive saefty systems across the lineup. Free 100K miles tune up included plus 36K miles/3 year free road side assistance.. and you can get it a zero down and less than 1% interest rate and same day delivery..
The base model in Thailand also has alloys. A different design but still alloys and good looking ones.
Yes I noticed it at some blogs the word reborn and they are basically using it because Civic died in its 9th Generation
The 9th Gen was not exactly death but you can safely say it was on life support equipment in I.C.U9th was not a bad car but it wasnt exactly a true thorough bred Civic either
It didn't. It is a fine car and is equally as good as Grande.
This civic reborn is a marketing tact used by Honda nothing else.
Was kidding. A nice car indeed, but wrongly labeled as Civic. It lacked that Civic factor present in every generation.
At that time we also had EXI hardtop which didn't had alloy rims. So the base trim now is EXI.
Honestly we should not judge it now. Let the car come. It will atleast have climate control which now came in Grande. So it equally will trade blows with lower 1.8 trims of corolla.
Not at all judging even 1% of negativity. Only criticizing Honda policy of creating this Tazaad.
