I owned a Grande for a good one and a half year and sold it in anticipation of buying a civic. Never owned one before, had toyotas only since 2004. I faced multiple issues with Grande. The driver seat started giving squeaking sounds and upon inspection at the dealership, they reahed to the conclusion that some spring is making noise. They lodged a warranty claim and replaced the driving seat. Than i sometimes had problem with the locks not opening from the remote when the car kept standing in heat, but that happened only a few times. The dashboard was making noise once, got it inspected and there was a problem with the AC fins. These were a few issues which definitely speaks of poor quality in IMC cars too.
But i remember when we had these discussions before the launching of corolla on 11th generation thread, all the civic fanboys used to speak of the elite quality that honda offers and how they dont strip down the international version. Keeping those things in mind, I sold my Grande after driving it for a year and a half so that I can buy the Civic X but we now come to this. The same fanboys are still defending the poor quality.
The fact of the matter is thateveryone in this country is ripping off the other. Instead of getting ripped. Koi price kamm rakh kr loot raha hai aur koi ziada rakh kr
