I have been told by the owner of this car with disappointment that the car was delivered on August 10th and it wasn't from the first batch of delivery. By 10th August all these issues were spread like a jungle fire. Even dealer didn't do their QC check work before delivery.
I wonder what the Quality Team of Honda Atlas is doing at the plant and what is their job if they approve such easy rejections. I mean if this is the state of a basic misfit issue and it's visible to a naked and it passed the QC inspection then what will be going on at fittings which are hidden??
Owners must simply should NOT accept with any such visible defects and pressurize dealers. Also I don't agree that these fit issues can be fixed at dealers and I would not recommend. This whole dashboard need to come out and realigned. Chances are the dashboard is molded like it and even if it's bolted properly at its required spots , there is fabrication issue with the dashboard itself. In any case this is big NO and no one should take such car.
