Interesting...so on one hand we have super sports cars like the koenigsegg regara , ford GT and tesla with yearly delivery times representing the epitome of automotive engineering....
And on the other hand we have atlas honda delivering low end four seater sedans with similar yearly delivery dates....The end is nigh people....

Some people at their head office say that they have sent 4 cars to japan for sorting out the knocking issue in turbo variant. Others say that atlas is short of turbo kits all the time. Dont know what the confusion is all about. But one thing for sure is that they are now discouraging people from buying turbo by telling them delivery dates of 2018.

The cooling and AC throw is just fine. The problem is: quality variation. Some cars have good and some have problem. One of my friends and his brother both got identical X. The brothers car has good cooling and throw, same in my car but my friends car has a very obvious difference.

Does that battery show when you connect your phone? Because that's the phone battery when Bluetooth pairing is active.

i just asked from one of my aquaintances who's in honda, he says no such news. it's delivery time is oct/nov this year.

The story of shortages of engines is not true anymore. I mean they could delay the car for 2-3 months not 6 months and now a year due to this.
I guess they are figuring a way to solve the knocking issue and forcing any new buyers to book oriel till then.

The AC on my 1.8 works perfect. According to manual and my own observation AC performance is lowered when ECO is ON maybe people are checking cooling with ECO turned ON.

By the way turn the temp down all the way to full low with fan on auto, the AC goes in super chill mode, petrol consumption goes up really fast on this.

The same story was told by Honda avenue Islamabad and they further added that honda will start producing Turbos from 8th April, don't know if it's true as I don't trust them anymore.
Awaiting mine with due date passed and counting...

Checked today from open market local dealers for the premium/own/on (whatever you call it) for the Turbo and to my surprise Turbo has now more own then Oriel variant.
Turbo ranges between 3 to 3.25 lacs and Oriel between 2.4 to 2.5lacs.
Now this is hilarious...
If there is something really wrong with the turbo engine which honda atlas is not able to sort out uptill now, this sometimes makes me feel like selling my turbo whenever it arrives, that even with a lucrative own money and then I might as well buy Audi A3 with a lot more goodies by spending some extra bucks, but that's just a thought, not sure though if it's a good idea?

Dear Friends,
I just noticed half moon icon in my Oriel in dash navigation. It was not there before. Anybody know what it means? Wanted to turn it off, don't know how to make it disappear. This icon making me feel annoyed.
