Hey guys, I was wondering can I get a rear view camera in oriel without the navigation system from Honda?

Guys when u turn on navigation in 1.8 it says u can update maps from https://www.naviextras.com this website can anyone tell the model name in 1.8 because i dont know which model to chose from and the company charges Rs2500 for maps update

My friend ticking problem is not that serious as is being spread here. when you'll own your vehicle you'll yourself notice. it's been much exaggerated. it's really less than minor.

Dear Friends,
I just noticed half moon icon in my Oriel in dash navigation. It was not there before. Anybody know what it means? Wanted to turn it off, don't know how to make it disappear. This icon making me feel annoyed.

On the old 8th gen navigation it meant the brightness was reduced to night time brightness. Dont know about the tenth gen navigation. Probably the same.

Its night mode to reduce max display brightness
In 9th gen, pressing the volume knob changes it from normal brightness to night mode to screen off and then back to normal brightness

Its night mode as someone told in previous post...u can turn it off by pressing Power button twice. it appears when u press the power button single time.

The AC on my 1.8 works perfect. According to manual and my own observation AC performance is lowered when ECO is ON maybe people are checking cooling with ECO turned ON.

By the way turn the temp down all the way to full low with fan on auto, the AC goes in super chill mode, petrol consumption goes up really fast on this.

hmm...well honestly i have never kept the temp below 22C so far and obviously if i put it on the lowest then it will definitely chilled the cabin...any ways since em not driving my oriel much so cant say anything about its performance with surety....

City Sales gave the same date. Feb 2018 for Turbo. So, I will be having same engine in 8,9 and 10 gen civics. lol

My tentative delivery date for Civic Oriel is 31st May. How many days before the delivery date they ask for payorder of remaining amount?

I sincerely hope that you are right about your claim, otherwise it would be such a waste of time and money both spent on this car.

Is it possible to change the colour after booking. Remaining amount still not paid. What's the procedure.

It is just a minor issue that is solved by correct fuel usage. It doesn't affect the Turbo experience nor it degrades anything. Even if you use normal fuel, you can avoid it by no abrupt extreme push of pedal.

So guys yesterday i went to both dealer and atlas head office to deal with them in a loud tone. But sadly no matter how you threaten aur treat them, they dont bother anymore now. The response you would get will be of a typical "chilled baghairat". Anyways after a lot of heated discussion and usual excuses by their side, one of their senior offered me that if i want an oriel instead of a turbo, we can arrange it for you in just 2 to 3 days. Otherwise they were not willing to share that when would i recieve my turbo. So sadly, i had to let go off the wait for turbo as i opted for it earlier because i was getting it with in 2 months.
They told me that we will call you tomorrow and inform you about the frame number of your oriel that would be delivered to you by saturday or max monday and surprisingly i got a call today from head office. They gave me the frame number and told that car would be delievered to you tomorrow.
Now my case was a little complicated as initially on 8th dec 16 i booked an oriel with delivery date of 31st May 17. Later on 10th Jan 17 i converted the order to turbo by paying the remaining balance upon which the car was to be delivered by 1st week of March max. But had no signs of it yet. So yes i am disappointed on not getting my desired vehicle but at the same time happy on getting the other one almost 50 days before the delivery date.

No. Not a hint of it. Upon arguing on turbo they just kept on saying that we havnt delivered the cars that were due in feb and some of jan even. In short what they meant was "jo hota hai ker lo, humare pas turbo nahi hai" and i wouldnt get it before may or perhaps june even.

Haven't I already told you the exact reason why Turbo is out of production? And also didn't Saad bhai disclose the Turbo bookings to be offered immediate Oriels in stock?

And as I posted on the other thread, then came here and saw the same stuff being discussed here. Re posting the text. And yes they have now Oriel in stocks to offer to those who booked Turbo with an incentive of early delivery. So here is the inside rumor as to why Turbo is halted for an indefinite Period.

Apparantly Turbo production is haulted because of the issues it has regarding engine complaints and knocking. Atlas Turbo is the only messed up variant with so many complaints and now once and for all Honda Thailand is working to get rid of this issue before sending more engines. They are going to re-test mules as per local pakistan fuel conditions with some engine modifications. Alter the ignition timings and maybe maybe reducing the power a bit as well.
Some people many on PW are absolutely satisfied with their Turbo because of its addiction. But the fact remains that not everyone is religious with good fuel and figuring it out how to avoid it. Majority owners with less level of knowledge and enthusiasm are fed up of the problem. Also varies car to car. So the uncertain timelines are because of this experiment which needs time.

LOL! Stealership people don't know their elbow from their a55. Majority of them follow PW grapevine and tell rumors stated here as fact to their customers.
