Source is the same as always. Ask any senior member here about all the information I have ever given even before the Atlas prototype for Civic X was born. From launch dates to the information on presence of 3 variants and everything.

Honda Thailand is the direct parent for Atlas and that's why they are involved in their decisions. And also most members who were here back then when the thread started also know I have been saying Turbo will not be ideally trouble free in the beginning and will get refined later once problems surface.

what's the point mr. arhitekt? getting thai involved in? it's their internal matter who & when they use to get involved in. what you need is, a refined product for yourself. it's their own matter if you think you may do better than that, start your own car production house. why few people always wanna be "hasan nisar" i always use to remain in search of this myth. what i'm of the view here, a company makes onething for you which surely is not being liked by everyone. so if you don't then better go for other instead of bashing on it daily & changing the stickers on your front screen is not that trobulesome than behaving like being pissed off here.

I just share information as I have always been doing. Those who want information may believe it or not. Totally upto the readers.

Just a tip, go through both threads and you will find out how credible my information always has been. Its not about their choice or anything or whose choice or whatever.

The car has a fault. It shouldn't be making any noises whatsoever. it is not their internal matter because they are selling those cars to us . i am sure everyone who is spending 3 mil "likes" the car but that doesnt change the fact that it has a particular engine issue that many arent happy about. so no one needs to start a "own car production house" , just get atlas to fix this issue

My tentative delivery date for Civic Oriel is 31st May. How many days before the delivery date they ask for payorder of remaining amount?

In most of cases people paid full amount before two months of tentative date and received delivery in start of tentative month i.e in your case you should pay balance amount before 15th April and receive you car in 1st week of may.

Thankyou, but there's no sign of Honda asking for the remaining amount. I think I need to visit the dealer as I have been waiting patiently enough now. Never made them a single call or visit after booking, i think its time now

So guys yesterday i went to both dealer and atlas head office to deal with them in a loud tone. But sadly no matter how you threaten aur treat them, they dont bother anymore now. The response you would get will be of a typical "chilled baghairat". Anyways after a lot of heated discussion and usual excuses by their side, one of their senior offered me that if i want an oriel instead of a turbo, we can arrange it for you in just 2 to 3 days. Otherwise they were not willing to share that when would i recieve my turbo. So sadly, i had to let go off the wait for turbo as i opted for it earlier because i was getting it with in 2 months.
They told me that we will call you tomorrow and inform you about the frame number of your oriel that would be delivered to you by saturday or max monday and surprisingly i got a call today from head office. They gave me the frame number and told that car would be delievered to you tomorrow.
Now my case was a little complicated as initially on 8th dec 16 i booked an oriel with delivery date of 31st May 17. Later on 10th Jan 17 i converted the order to turbo by paying the remaining balance upon which the car was to be delivered by 1st week of March max. But had no signs of it yet. So yes i am disappointed on not getting my desired vehicle but at the same time happy on getting the other one almost 50 days before the delivery date.

Dont be dishearted bro....em sure once you get your hands on ur brand new shining Oriel you will forget everything....X oriel is really fun to drive...you will enjoy every moment em sure...on the other side i think its far better to have trouble free Oriel than ticking noisy and troubled Turbo...

Question for the oriel owners:

What is the deal with the brightness of the speedometer ? If I reduce it just one point from max it goes like really down...The last point makes a huge change in brightness as compared to the full range..

I have a civic Turbo booked for july , shall i change to orial 1.8L. It will be a safe option. As knocking issue will definitly hit all the turbo cars sooner or later. Or you think it will solved with a software update?

Dear I have Turbo and believe me that this is not at all issue. After recent software update it has reduced to negligible level.

Also I haven't got this repeated by using combination of HOBC and RON 92.

Also if you use only RON 92 which is standard now, it doesn't affect driving experience. You might have to be slightly mindful of full pedal at low rpm.

GO for Turbo as it is a league apart from other local assembled cars and models. I can assure you that you won't be disappointed rather Happy

Jklodhi Bhai is very right. I'm the proud owner of Turbo and believe me no issue of knocking or whatever even on standard petrol. I think this knocking phenomenon is over exaggerated by oriel owners. Once you have the driving pleasure of Turbo, you will never even think about any other variant.
