I'm not really sure about gearing since this is after all a CVT ...but as per the manual...S mode improves throttle response and braking. which you can clearly feel once you drive in S mode....The RPM generally stays in a higher range to improve torque.
OOO...HOOO.......really sorry for that but rest assure you are also one of them....
Have a look at the following videos which I've made of my own cars, both Oriel X and Turbo X. This is the second time I have to change the battery IF this seems to be an issue with car batteries only.
&
So you are saying that after market battery is also not able to cope with the requirement of civic X?
This isn't an aftermarket battery. It's an OEM battery.
Battery terminals are loose. No issue with the battery. Tighten or change them
Question: I got 30-Dec booking date for Oriel, but I want January 2018, please guide me how I avoid 30-Dec and get 2018 model.
They're as tight as they can be. Not loose.
I have a same date. Just talk to your sales person he will do for you. My sales person did the same.
Battery dry (weekly checking now) as compare to monthly checking of corollas any 1 pl tell what would be the reason. Car just 10000 driven
There is some truth about brake fails and fires. Have a look a this old Top Gear episode where they are talking about just this exact thing. If you look at the burnt Civic you will notice that the brake fluid reservoir is missing. Now if that melted due to the fire or it blew out as a result of pressing the brake and sprayed brake fluid on the engine is anyone guess. Have a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F67rIHYdrpg
yes battery have to be checked after every two weeks as water level drops is this with international model without dry battery also ?
Brother the only reason I can think of is that if the same batteries are fine in other cars meaning Reborn, or the 9th gen then this car cannot run properly with this 15 year old battery. Yeah it will crank the engine and all but there are too many electronics in the car for such a substandard battery. Imported Bosch ones are 30k for a battery.
It is frightening to see such issues in new cars!!! Please post the reason of this problem after getting it fixed.
The following is the one used by EX Turbo in the states
Battery (51r/500amp85)Part Number: 31500-SR1-100M
Don't know if it's acid or dry but looks like it's an acid battery.
Sure is. I've officially changed another battery. This should be my third battery. Now let's see how long this lasts before I'm staranded on the road again.
Reason I can't say for sure if it's the alternator which is not working properly or it's just an underpowered battery which won't do for these cars with way too many electronic components.
Ok brothers! Got my ride loaded with almost everything that I mentioned in my original post. Exterior is almost complete. From serial-1 to 11, everything is fixed. After about 3 more months, shall go for the planned electrical mods. Here are the pics that I took today for you all. Car has not been washed/polished since last one week. So kindly ignore the dirt!!
What remains in the exterior? Not changing wheels? And lights? I've been after the RS rims for ages but can't find them - and anyone who has them is charged way too much for them!
So it means quick drying of battery & frequently checking is common in civic x
