Official delivery to public as told by dealers " March / April ".

as i asked before my delivery will be in march/april i dont have the budget to pay 55-56 lacs for a civic what if i dont want the 11th gen, i booked a civic x and i want that only then what will happen, also the car i get in march will it be assembled and model 2022? so in registration it will be a 2022 car? a guy from excise said all cars before april are registered as 2021 model which is absurd

Any car registered on 1st Jan or afterward is new year one. You will get X and there is nothing to worry about. Only people paying extra would be given the 11th gen.

No that's totally absurd , if your car's invoice date is on or after 1 jan 2022 then it will be registered as a 2022 model

i was asking around today for a car that was delivered on january 4 the invoice was on dec 26 2021 the manifacturing was of 2021 and the model written was 2022 so i was confused this car will be registered as 2021 or 2022 model car in which a guy from excise told me all car before april 2022 will have assemebled and manifactured in 2021 on invoice and thats why they will be reigstered as 2021 models so i am worried now

Excise takes manufacture year as Model so it's 2021 although model mentioned on invoice is 2022 but excise has a wierd logic to put manufacture year as Model.

Ideally 2022 unless they give you old stock manufactured in 2021 which is highly unlikely.

so thats really unfair if someone gets a manifactured car of 2021 with an invoice of 4350 and other get 2021 manfifactured with the new latest invoice of 4493 can i take any legal measures against them then?

Sir, I am sharing what dealers are saying. According to them the camouflaged is CKD.

We here didn't finalize in this thread if the camouflaged unit is CBU or CKD. It is still not confirmed.

HRV with 1.8 can be an older 2nd generation now being discontinued overseas.

The current new 3rd generation has no more 1.8. Atlas has to erect a new assembly line to assmble the new HRV. The 2nd generation HRV shares stuff with GM6 City which is the current City in Pakistan and that can be a possibility.

Yes, but as we discussed previously the ground clearance of a CKD being that low is very unlikely.

I personally DIDN'T made any final judgment on the camouflaged vehcile, CBU or CKD . I am only sharing an information as recieved.
