I plan to get the original engine rebuilt from Gullu DT at Ayesha manzil in the future.... Until then I've swapped this engine in the bike as it cost me next to nothing and is more reliable... As for cosmetic mods, I don't want to go for everything to be company spec as it will cost a lot and I won't be able to find the proper parts as well. I prefer the design language and looks of these old enduros and I will try to replicate it as much as possible but I won't try to find OEM parts for it as it will be a huge pain in the rear-end. I will instead try to swap the original or a similar 2 stroke in it and try to get the bike to look as OEM spec as possible without completely breaking the wallet.
Please give me the location and number of rafiq autos and I'll check em' out.

Cosmetic mods will surely cost you beyond expected at times

everything to be company spec needs some effort to find the OEM parts will be a lot of fun.

*I prefer the design language and looks of these old Enduros

Vintage - Antique bike are all about keeping the original intact to be precise (that's my opinion)

to swap a similar 2 stroke engine (ideally, it should be bolt on).

*for without completely breaking the wallet. (Shauq da koe mull nae)

one tip to redo an old model bike is to buy a donner bike (TS100) from market, it will surely cost you way less and save you ample amount of time and hassle.

Restoring a bike to OEM specs and finding the parts through markets is fun yes, but since I'm a student I don't have the time nor the money to try to restore it properly. I got the bike for 5000rs and so far getting it running has cost me an additional 5k.I tried to find a donor bike but there aren't many TS 100s left and the people that are selling them ask crazy prices. I've gotten a 20k estimate for getting the original engine completely rebuilt and running...

@pwuser162853199183 I had a Jeep CJ 7 with Wrangler YJ orginal body on top. so from outside it was YJ but in documents it was CJ.

@pwuser162853199183 Rs. 5,000/- is (no money) dirt cheap for TS100 (or any other tral for that matter) with documents. since how long you have this bike ?
another 5.000/- for getting it running ? is it the cost of 125 engine you swaped in?

My brother bought this bike in 2016 for 5k along with documents. It was in rough condition and didn't have a fuel tank,seat and other cosmetics rest was all complete. I got the engine from a friend who's out of country now for free. I got the tank for 2000 for another friend. Placing and starting the engine cost me around 3k which includes a new carb,clutch cable,accelerator cable and getting new mounts made for the engine. It cost me an additional 3k labour which I didn't factor in because there is still a lot of work left and I will add labour in at the end. So in total: I got the bike for 5k, parts for an additional 5k and 3k labour.
