2016 Venza (V6 AWD) End of Lease Dilemma

My 2016 Venza lease is coming to an end in November 2020. Just last week the driver side heated mirror caught fire from a short circuit. While I understand that it is a possibility for any car with heated mirrors to have a short circuit, I have doubts on whether to purchase my car after the lease ends. I looked online for common issues for 2016 Venzas and did not find much. The car has served me well over the last 3 years, and I never had an issue in snow storms or any extreme weather related driving (I live in Canada). Never needed any service other than oil/brakes/tires...etc. The purchase price is $14K which is less than the Venzas available on the market today, with the same mileage or condition. What do you guys think? and if any long term Venza owner can shed some light on the car that will be great. Thanks in advance.word counter VidMate

I doubt you will find any VENZA owner here. Try some international forum. Regarding the short circuit, it has nothing to do with your decision of buying the car. Some electrical faults happen every now and then and besides it’s nothing major. Here in Pakistan we have had cases of completely burning corollas and even some latest civics. I personally think that you should buy the car in your case and assuming that you have an insurance, hopefully the car will serve you well in the upcoming years
