2017 Gli Auto 1.3 Underpowered or Not

Gli 1.3 Auto is seriously underpowered, when signal turns green , Alto, coure, RikShaws leads the race and a Gli 1.3 Auto struggles like zindagi aur mout ki kashmakash to run.
I have driven this car many times, so I have a bit experience of it, even old 1.6 auto se saloon is better in acceleration.
If you are buying a Gli Auto 1.3, then why not a 1.6 or 1.8 altis with not a big price difference.

Gli 1.3 Auto is seriously underpowered and heavy on fuel due to a big body and 4 speed auto , 8,9km/ltr is average in city

I get 13km/l in City with AC... First two gears have power.. there is hidden secret in A/T driving, it's power adjust according to driver habit, those with heavy foot get power and light foot get mileage.

My father has 1.3 and I have altis 1.6 2016. For me there is slight difference between the two. Yes 1.6 is better but 1.3 is good enough in terms of pickup.

Adding my 2 cents here. I currently have 2017 model AT and we went to Hunza with 4 adults plus 1 year old kid and trunk was full.
While climbing up from babusar top to Naran, first i was struggling to drive the car because it was my first trip on A/T car. but as soon as i started to control the gears, it climbed quite easily. Even i crossed few cars on the way towards babusar top.
So if loaded car can climb up easily then i think its not that underpower. but yes if you compare it with City 1.3 this car has a bit less acceleration. however there is no fun factor in both the cars and both are bilawaja expensive.

For sure, Gli automatic is underpower but if you drive Gli manual you will enjoy its pick...Gli automatic is sluggish and cannot go above 180 Km/h but manual is capable of reaching 210km/h ( if well maintained and good quality fuel)....I have driven both the cars and enjoyed Manual’s pick.
