Yehi halaat hain if you need car in even 2-3 month there is no option despite of so many new entrants. Either pay heavy own or wait 5 6 month with booking n im sure this is not possible with current sales figures n customer buying power the companies are not operating at full capacity n making this gap in market

PROTON SAGA :For actual practical users who need a real life car for commute i think Proton Saga would be the best choice....it has all the features of city and its 10 lacs cheaper.....however the delivery time of ONE Year on Saga is STUPID....so its a BIG NO NO...

YARIS : Yaris is a cramped up small driver's car.....although feature loaded....1/2 months delivery time....BUT arm rest is in a awkward location, which makes long journeys tiring....and arm rest protruding till back seat is a big NO NO...3 persons can hardly sit.......and DESIGN is also a BIG NO NO.....without body kit seems like a incomplete car....15 inch alloys are also small...should have given 16" for a better look and ride....

ALSVIN : Seems a good car with all the features...excluding Hill start assist in not understood....but reliability of a Chinese Product is a big question....investing in it is a BIG Risk for a middle class salaried person.....plus long delivery time is also a BIG NO NO....

Honda City: 6th Generation is far better looks wise from all above cars....Honda is a reliable brand...delivery times are expected to be short...1/2 months.....City is definitely going to be a hit if priced wisely and delivered on time.....It is better sub compact sedan than Saga, Alsvin and Yaris ... honda would be happy to increase the sales volume by delivering the car on time........

HONDA WOULD HAVE HIGH SALES VOLUME WITH 3000 HONDA CITY CARs A MONTH AND 1/2 MONTHS DELIVERY TIME MAX .....
SALES WOULD BEAT YARIS .....100 % SURE.....
MAXIMUM 1.2 MANUAL AND 1.2 CVT WOULD BE SOLD....
OWN WOULD BE MAX 30/40 THOUSAND LIKE YARIS HAS RIGHT NOW FOR READY DELIVERY..

Glory 580 main competitor is rush and brv not mg hs,sportage or tucson. And still civic is better than glory 580 and dfsk is a Chinese brand and there is no reliability of there product. Glory 580 looks and features are awesome but build quality is matter.

Can't Agree, Yaris will lead the Market in terms of sales volume for Three reasons
- Ground Clearance
-Toyota Reliability Factor
-soft Suspension

Sales of Yaris will be mostly in Rural and Sub Urban Areas in Punjab, while we all know Toyota is way ahead of Honda in Sindh due to the poor infrastructure especially in Interior Sindh. City will be most favourite Car in Urban Punjab ranging from Lahore to RWP.

Yaris is readily available max 2 months.. May be toyota is scared that when City becomes available their sales are going to be hit hard. What actually happens, only time will tell.

Alsvin has created a mess for themselves due to extremely delayed deliveries.

And on a separate note the pics of base model (if true) have really put me off.. mean seriously.. what the heck.. and I am sure it will be around 26.5 to 27

Indus motors is extensively marketing Yaris again and dealers are committing earliest or 30 days deliveries as well.

Altho their is a big shortage of cars. Either they have shifted to Yaris all in all and delaying corolla or they are feeling the heat from Honda. Else its simply not selling enough.

Another reason for Yaris to lead in sales is government sales for the 1300cc sedan segment.

1-2 months delivery time? Dealerships are telling that Aspire variants will be delivered in Jan/Feb 2022 and as far as the 1.2 variants are concerned its already December.

They have messed up big time... plus extended delivery time means more risk of increasing prices as the prices at time of delivery apply and most people book on partial payment.

I agree that City lovers will but City no matter what but the waiting period is going to be 1-2 months.

Most cars are booked by investors... many genuine buyers have confirmed this here as well and they are likely to keep artificial shortage till they sell their stock.

Most who've booked aspire told me they got Oct/November as delivery time. Jan / feb might be the late comers

If priced right City can and will eat the competition, specially with the 1.2l tax releif.

The question is the Price.

Aspire at 3.1 vs Ativ X at 3.0 same features. I although never have advocated for a City but will select City over Yaris.this time around.

Aspire at 3.25 - 3.3 range sorry Either YarisX and save a few bucks or Altis X putting in some more.

Pehle city ko sirf Xli se compete kerna tha, now it will fall between Yaris and Corolla.

Everyone will have an option to down grade to Yaris or upgrade to Corolla. If not priced wisely all this January 2022 booking will come down to 2 to 3 months.

I remember we booked a city in August 2017 and got in delivered in April 2018.

While they launched standard 1.5 in between with 15 days delivery. We changed 1.3 to 1.5 but still got it delivered in 9 months.

But I think market is different now

Another thing I heard, people who are pre-booking now will get a few days to decide at the time of launch if they want to go ahead with the booking or not and they will get back all the money.
Where will all those bookings go? Will the queue speed up by that or those bookings will go to investors aka dealership mafia?

Most likely will speed up delivery as if that happens a lot, it will mean that the car is falling out of demand and investors will wanna avoid it.

speeding up delivery increases demand....not decreases it.....

lol people dont tell me this city is better im driving it since 2009 we need some change now n better features just changing lights n bumpers but still same hard drive after all these years.... im guessing 6th gen wont be as hard as this one much better comfort, road clearance n looks with competetive features in this segment

Yaris is a teen dabba build quality farigh hai aur gari ki roadgrip hi nahi hai 120 pe idhar udhar hawaa mein ur rahi hoti hai aur yaris awam ki majboori hai ap meri baat likh lo yaris ki sales kis tarhan girti hamari awam ko sirf city mein change chahiye generation se unhein koi faraq nai parta city top selling car bun jaye gi. Aur ap waise toyota agent hi lag rahe ho.

I do not think you have to pay 30 lacs plus on new city for only cruise control and new headlights and push start these all things are provided by Chinese company changan in only 26 lacs
