Sometimes i feel the entire structure is corrupt otherwise it's not that complicated to put an online tracking system where you can see a delivery date for your booking and bypass all dealership mind games.

initially i tried online booking but Honda never responded.

plus black and red colour there delivery will automatically be late as compared to white colour and manual variant plus 1.5 simple cvt variant.

I agree but what colour should make difference.??
if i booked in Aug come what may colour i booked, i should get intime.

I am hearing rattling noise from left B pillar area and from dash board behind steering wheel area only when driving on a bumpy road. Does anyone else facing the same issue.. car is 600 KM driven.

I may be wrong but this seems like VTC Actuator rattle on cold start. Same was very common on Corolla VVTI Actuator.

Guys do you know if there's any good after market installation possilbe for "ramda" (not sure if thats the correct word), that insulating/sound deadening sheet under the front hood of honda city?

Thank you. Do you know if it'll help with road noise a bit in addition to replacing to better tyres? I remember adding Yokohama db9 a long time ago and they did help a bit with road noise.

Also there is pretty much no extra insulation for noise below the body of the honda city. I guess that is not something that can be easily added as aftermarket?

This insulation might only reduce engine noise a bit...

Yes tires will reduce the road noise but I won't suggest to replace them... Let orignal one finish there life then replace them...

If you really want a quite cabin i will suggest that you get the aftermarket insulation installed, it will cost around 25-30k from a reputable place but it will make cabin quite more then that it will be after changing tires only...

Sound doesn’t come on start up.. it comes on bumpy road or unpaved road.. after washing my car it didn’t come today while coming to office.

I have bought this namda for city from daraz 1800 Rs. And didn’t make much difference in noise but the other purpose of namda is that it saves bonnet inner surface and paint from acidic gases coming out of battery and heat from hot engine.
Secondly for noise i changed my tyre to continental cc6. It did make a difference on slow speed till 40 but above that alot of noise. You can’t hear AC air throw( that’s my idea of checking cabin noise). In my opinion imported tyre if cost 1.5 x times general tyre is ok. But not 2.5 x times. Like 7k price of general vs 16k tyre price of cc6.

Could be belt or pulleys (alternator, belt tensioner, AC compressor etc).

Got a call from dealer of 23.5k pkr reimbursement cheque.

Anyone know the calculation? My car was delayed 74 days after 2 month period. Initial booking amount was 26.55 lac. Rest adjusted some 30 days before delivery

As per my calculations cheque should be 71.5k

Yes I made a detailed video on it.

74 days may be BUT Honda says it starts from Cheque/Pay-order Clearance Date, so calculation may vary by a few days

Initial booking amount was 26.55 lac.

It does not matter what you paid, its the Official Partial Payment based on which penalty amount is calculated. Full payment is irrelevant. Kibor+3 is calculated on Partial (Official Partial amount is 10 Lacs or 12 Lacs? Please confirm). Please also note, company calculates Kibor+3 on Initial Amount AFTER deducting 17% tax first.

Use this video as reference for calculation and you will get much much nearer to the 23.5k figure provided by company.

I think the booking was reduced later but not sure.

Here are some rough calculations based on 12lacs vs 10 lacs booking. Differences in Kibor+3 rate applied and also number of Days is creating difference in the amount you got from Honda VS what we are calculating.
