If someone can assist with this I will appreciate it because the Suzuki guys refer me to some random vendor who then charges for it. They've literally turned something that should be fixed into a subscription service.

If you can identify the OEM of the SoC XDA forum is your best bet. Since I changed by HU the first time it crashed on me, i am not too sure, but it has an entire sub-forum dedicated to android HUs. I know its not FYT based, so its one of the other ones. I think its based on the Mediatek MTK8259 but you will need to check using either CPU-Z or something running it on the HU. Once you have the SoC you can search the XDA forums for a suitable ROM to flash your HU.

PS: can't you put the HU in recovery mode and just let it reflash itself?

Has anyone got front camera installed? Need to confirm whether there is any wire cut involved, or it plug and play grip to grip? Because in video officially available on Pak Suzuki Website for infotainment unit of Swift, it was being said that front camera is plug and play.

It is plug and play. You will need to figure out a way to get the video cable into the cabin. If you dont want to cut the grommet that brings the main harness in, you can route it via they AC drain under the passenger seat and seal the opening with buytl tape used to seal pipes over the drain. This way it is completely reversible. The head unit has a jack for the video in for the camera. As for the trigger and power, they can be either brought in via the same path. Since the camera is activated via an APP, it can be powered from within the cabin as well. Make sure to route the wires in a plastic duct to prevent them from getting damaged esp if you bring them in via the drain route

does the HU of Swift 2025 supports Android auto / Apple car play?

Through generic link apps that is found on most after market HU aka screen mirroring (works for AA, may work for CP ). There isn't any official AA, CP support.

Since I changed my head unit very soon after purchase, my memory is a little rusty; but the first time requires a wired connection, which can be shifted to wireless afterwards. AFAIK suzuki has a video that shows how to pair AA. Let me see if I can find it for you

It is based on Rockchip PX5 and has android 10.

Swift's OEM head unit doesn't have Apple CarPlay or android auto support. You'll need to either replace the head unit or use some dongle.

A good quality android unit should be within 30-50k range and will have better resolution than this OEM unit and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I replaced the unit the second day when I received the car and it had 600p display which can't even display YouTube Music App fully.

But it also depends, if there are regularly people in the backseat, suzuki recommends 41 psi for the back tires and 36 for the front.

I'm not sure if 185/60/R16 size is available but if it is available, would it be advisable to switch from 185/55/16 to make the ride soft?

I've not yet changed, but most people have switched that the 60 size due to a bit more height and sidewall for some comfort.

It comes with 205 Rapid tyre. Felts a bumpy rides on highway and i think its because of the tyre size. Should i get the tyre changed?

Cracking noise? Common problem.

Oversized tire. Use either factory recommended tire size (185/55/R16) or just one step upgraded size (185/60/R16) for better comfort. A 9% height increase isn't bad if you use 185/60/R16. 205 is definitely oversized.

If this happens while applying brakes on uneven roads, it's actually ABS and ESP that get activated.
Unlike Toyota, I never noticed the ESP light blink on Suzuki, despite having one.
