when you get the new sparkplugs, I would advice you not to gap them, they are made specificaly for this engine

the same plugs are used for k10b in wagonr/cultus. If they are not pregapped then gappign betweek 0.95-0.105 is necessary for optimum funtionality

Alsvin has its own issues. faulty ABS and very sub par breaking for one which comes to mind

Free compound polish on the spot Btw my GLi which was delivered in 2013 also had deep scratches on the bonnet, unfortunately they couldn't be removed and also amateur me at the time didn't notice them.

Its very hard to believe that faulty plugs can cause overheating issue.
Overheating can be due to issues in cooling system.
Check temperature of upper radiator hose and lower radiator hose. Lower radiator hose shouldnt be cooler to touch. It should be hot.
If lower radiator hose is cooler than it means there is issue in coolant flow.
There are 2 possible reasons of coolant flow issue, air lock around water pump or thermostat valve, or a faulty thermostat valve that is not opening.
Air lock is easier to remove, an air vent screw needs to be unscrewed while radiator is topped up.
If thermostat valve is faulty, it needs to be replaced.

For knocking issue, may be high octane should be given a try.

After changing the faulty spark plugs and adjusting the gaps, I drove the car around 15 KM (Gulberg Main Boulevard and Jail Road, Lahore) with two adults and two children. The driving speed was around 45 – 60 KM/H, tire pressure (front/back 34/32 PSI), there was a lot of traffic in Gulberg, and total idling time with AC was around 8 – 10 minutes.

There is no more engine heating issue, no lags in the drive, and the fuel average is also great!

bad spark plugs can cause high temp and knoking both. the cooling system cannot counter any faults in the combustion cycle.
