I dont think.zong has 4g LTE, warid has 4g LTE with an edge of ericson being the technology partner, while zong rely on chinese based technology huawei and ZTE etc. Thats why warid is the best. There is a difference between 4G and 4G LTE.

well let us wait and see with the speed test on their 4G networks , but in the end speed will not matter the most , only matter that who has best coverage and rates for their 4G

I agree Zong has got LTE but it cannot be compared with warid as their equipment is world class !! I have tested Zong 4GLTE and got disappointed with ionly 10Mbps which i was getting on their 3G ! Lets wait and watch warid 4g now

Yes Zong and Warid both will have LTE But Warid has best voice quality, coverage and quick connectivity.. Its Edge was also best so I m sure its 4G will rock too.. That's why Zong was worried and therefore PTA stopped Warid from any news or announcement before Zong's 4G launch....
At present not even 10% mobile users are having 4G compatible sets so its usage will be limited initially as compared to 3G

Yea warid is best in service bec of less users then others. Just wish their 4G is same and most imp their rates are fair and coverage of 4G is better then others. It will all depend on rates and coverage at end. That is a real race and fight between networks now.

Exactly ! I am very disappointed with Zong's 4GLTE but I hope they will improve later! Desperately waiting for Warid's 4GLTE;) and yes rates and coverage do matter now

I am assuming thst Warid's 4GLTE will be slightly expensive but its worth it actually

I already have warid and getting zong in 3-4 days so i am happy that i will have the best 2 networks in Pak

(T-Mobile was one of the first companies to falsely advertise its HSPA+ network as 4G, and AT&T followed suit shortly after. Arguably AT&T is even worse, as its network started out with capabilities peaking at 14.4Mbit/s download and 5.8Mbit/s upload speeds, which is ridiculously slow for a 4G network. Users in the UK, and some other countries, will probably have noticed that some carriers actually offer HSPA+ as part of their 3G network packages. Right now zong 4g is giving same speed as its 3g . No improvment

I'm using Zong and yes currently their 4G is giving same speed as their 3G. But their 3G is still faster then the others...:), 2ndly, they have put capping on speed as of now. Why , I donno.
Warid will launch 4G (donno if it's gonna be HSPA+ or LTE) in few days. The problem however, will be the bandwidth, Warid only has 8.8 MHz bandwidth on which it'll be launching all services (voice/SMS/Data), it will be just like driving a farrari on a service road alongside all the slow traffic, you can very well imagine how fast you can drive a farrari in such conditions. Whereas, Zong purchased totally new spectrum for 4G specifically, which means a motorway specially layed for your farreri..:), Zong now has 30 Mhz bandwidth in total.
Now do the maths and judge which operator service will be faster..

But there is also a fact that warid spectrum is only 30% utilized. They have the least numbers of users in pak that is why they are launching their 4G on same band.

Let see how it effects their service..

@horse_rider Those were dirty marketing tactics used by those American mobile operators who didn't had LTE license to falsely advertise their HSPA+ service as 4G. But in Pakistan i can assure u that 3G means UMTS, HSDPA and HSPA+ and 4G means LTE. No false advertising here!!

Inside news says that the corporate customers and employees at warid have already been given 4g activated sims for testing purposes.

Isnt it tooo less for LTE. And the ping time seems much higher. Am not a tech guy but i get similar results on mobilink 3g.
