Well. We are all looking forward to 4g when i read online that acceptance to 3g has been very less and negligible penetration in market has been observed.
The main reason being speculated is lesser coverage but i think main reason is ita higher tariff. Bcz with 3g and 4g u need higher data slots which cost more.
I think 4g would be needing a minimum package of 15 gb which is not going to be cheaper. I am using mobilink 3g on postpaid and paying 1000 per month extra. Although i ported from warid. Would it be worth going back to warid waisay.
Just shared my thought. What do u guys think.

I would not port my Warid number to any operator.. As the network is gr8 , call quality and Warid's EDGE speed is acceptable as well.. ofcourse 3G/4GLTE is a plus with any operator but if EDGE and 4GLTE services are good with Warid then I will stick to Warid (Tariff matters too ) .. otherwise my next option will be ZONG as they are 3G equipped and 4GLTE also .. Their coverage is amazing in RWP/ISB (Indoor too) Tariff is also good

Just waiting for Warid to Launch 4GLTE and i will see their coverage and tariff .. My final decision will be then

I'm using Zong and yes currently their 4G is giving same speed as their 3G. But their 3G is still faster then the others...:), 2ndly, they have put capping on speed as of now. Why , I donno.
Warid will launch 4G (donno if it's gonna be HSPA+ or LTE) in few days. The problem however, will be the bandwidth, Warid only has 8.8 MHz bandwidth on which it'll be launching all services (voice/SMS/Data), it will be just like driving a farrari on a service road alongside all the slow traffic, you can very well imagine how fast you can drive a farrari in such conditions. Whereas, Zong purchased totally new spectrum for 4G specifically, which means a motorway specially layed for your farreri..:), Zong now has 30 Mhz bandwidth in total.
Now do the maths and judge which operator service will be faster..

Its not that simple bro, warid has Wateen also. they have more spectrum both on warid and wateen.

Its crap, overpriced and it has speed caps. I have Ufone as a second SIM but I've stopped using 3G on it.

Mobilink has a nice 3g coverage area in lahore but i must admit. Its voice quality has been compromised badly.
