The cuore autobox has only one big problem which is the reverse piston sticking (because its plastic), It requires a BRAND NEW PISTON to be installed to rectify this fault, if you install a used piston - it will fail shortly. The other problem is the speed governor getting stuck or the plastic gear driving it gets broken off - this causes the transmission to forever stay in 1st gear. I have never encountered a fluid leak problem that could not be corrected.
The problem is overheated ATF and not changing it on time. Of all the A/T cars I have come across in Karachi nearly all never had a fluid change because their mechanics were against (gear aail chenge) - I have even seen a transmission using kerosene mixed in manual gear oil - because the swap guys in quetta did not have a gallon of ATF at hand.
