I have a civic Vti 2002 manual. A problem started a few days ago. I accelerated real hard in 1st and 2nd gear and every thing was fine. I then had my car converted on cng same day. Since then the acceleration has dropped considerably even on petrol. I cannot also feel when the Vtech kicks in.Could any one suggest what the problem might be?Is it due to the clutch plate?(It does not seem to slip)What could be another cause, and what is the cost involved in replacing a clutch and pressure plate?
your car might have causing problem due to bad cng installation, it will require tuning on petrol and chekup of wiring bc may be the one installed the cng have connect the cng kit with wrong wire.do go to the authorised honda dealer/ workshop.
hmmm, they must have blocked the air passage for setting on gas? if they did, get it set without any blockage. its probably cng setting related. how much has the vti done, mileage?
car has mileage of 80,000kms
