Dear Please dont' go for TPS setting, it can't be adjusted, rather mostly technicians damage the whole Throttle body in this try.
However, if you feel the delayed response by the vehicle then better to check its Fuel Pump. In these models, the fuel pump and fuel filter are very delicate. Most of the times, when the vehicle is driven with less fuel in the fuel tank, it suck the bottom dust particles. Those particles restricts the flow of fuel through pump and the allied filter.
Even before going for this whole diagnosis, ask technician to disengage the Fuel main line from the Main fuel line gallery (injector's gallery); then simply switch the ignition switch ON (don't start the engine, just ignition switch ON), the flow of Fuel from that pipe, its intensity / throw will decide the condition of the PUMP.
Since, i have seen its internal configuration therefore, i am confident too much otherwise, Vti,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,don't obey you to be # 1, it is like an abuse for racing lovers !
Best of Luck and bye for now
