this started happening after Islamabad visit on motorway. I cN feel ghaaaaaaaan noise either its from engine or front tyres I have no idea. sometimes it feels like vibration. I had fuel injector cleaning before long drive. any idea?
Would help to mention the car make and model.
That kind of sound is usually a worn out wheel bearing. Solution is replacement with new part but it’s best to get it properly diagnosed from a mechanic. In the current situation, just avoid going out.
Front wheel bearings
car is suzuki swift
are you sure engine sound hai, kyon k is tarha ki awaz usually wheel bearings se ati hai. My suzuki Swift used to make such noise too on speeds above 50km. changed wheel bearings and it is fine now!
Sir Suzuki workshop is closed due to lockdown where should I go now?
Which city?
all the workshops are closed these days. Have no option but to wait : (
Does the sound get louder as you drive faster? I recently had my front wheel bearing changed as it too made noise at higher speeds.
Front wheel bearing. If sound increases with speed 8ts definitely wheel bearing.
Genuine bearing from Suzuki is around 8000 RS without labour. Other Japanese Genuine will cost you around 2.5 to 4000 RS.
So guys it was rear left wheel bearing cost 9500 with labor and tax from Suzuki 3s. Sound is gone.
that's great. How much did they charge for the bearing and labor charges separately ?
1000 labor 9700 total. Just rechecked.
Thats insane. Best quality bearing (NTN or Koyo) is around 1700 from market and 300 is labour
I did car alignment from outside 3d style alignment from 4 shops. All of them ruined my alignment. I went to suzuki 3s and my car is dead center now doesn't go left or right. I don't trust outside mechanics. They do experiments on your car.
I second you. Dealership knows how to handle their own baby car. Outside mechanic are just hit and try follower
So guys it was left rear bearing change
get the air pressure in tyres at 32 PSi all tyres and all noises would be gone
