1 care you have to take is that drive the bike at a max speed of 30KM/H for the first 1000 KM and then try to test the top speed and pick of the bike.
As far as the fuel consumption is concerned, bear it till the running is not completed and then afterward, get it's fuel adjusted.
And for the local parts. I pearsonaly don't like the local parts to be used in the bike engine (as these bikes are high performance bikes) until and unless they are of extremely good quality. Only go for the japanees parts if available (will be a little costly but their performance will tell you :P)
