The clunking noise and too much play is in differential. I can freely spin the end part by hand (where driveshaft is connected with four bolts) and it produces that noise. Now I would have to replace differential ? Or is there any fix ?
Update: Jack up both rear wheels of my car,(trans is nuetral) and and tyre moves a bit (like 20-22 deg ) before driveshaft starts to spin as well with clunk. Any possible solution ?
BTW I can also feel a little bit of resistance when I spin the wheels with hands and they do not stop smoothly,there is a bit of resistance causing them to stop.
