Dear all,
Hi guys i just had wanted to have some professional assistance from ur side on this issue... I have a Suzuki Baleno Model 2002, fitted with 13" and dunlop tyres, bought almost a year ago.
From few months i have noticed that the car gives a bit of jerks and slight jump while driving on the initial gears and on slow speeds on clean and smooth roads. It gives kind of a small "jhatkas" to ur whole body. Its seems like u are driving on uneven road but the car is moving on an even and smooth road and i have tested it on various roads in lahore but the problem presists.
I also visited a wheel balancing and alignement guy, he told me that there is no such problem of balancing and alignement problem as its symptoms are different. However the problem he diagnosed was that, there is some problems with my front tyres and the alloy rims are fine and the tyres need to be replaced and according to him its the ultimate remedy to this problem.
So on receipt of this advice, i visited the workshop where my cars usually go for work and maintenance. The cheif mechanic there lifted the front end of my car using a jack and told me to start the car,put it in fourth gear and start accelerating slowly. so i did that and then he came up with and he came up with another solution and said that, the problem lies with the alloy rims and advised me to put back the stock steel rims and the problem will vanish.
So i am a bit confused now and require some assistance from ur part, that what should be line of action for me and what should i do, Should i go for tyre replacement or the rims?....
I also had an idea that why not i should alter their position, this means that bring the rear set of tyres and rims to the front,...... What do u think will it work......
So i am in a contant state of stress and confusion as to do what........
So all the pros out there, HELP me out on this one so that i can ultimately find a solution of this problem and take actions accordingly......
Please HELP me with this one............
Your
THANKS
