@autophile one more question. which colour should i use gun metallic or silver or super white in 1.6? and iam planning to keep car for 5 to 7 years.
super white will remain white or it will become pale with time..

Colour is personal choice. Everyone is buying Super White and less people are buying silver and gun metallic. Silver is elegant colour and easy to clean and dust does not show up on it so soon. Rest avoid darker colours.

Eventually all paints age and show signs of decay, however, you can prolong their look by taking proper care and using quality stuff to wash, wax.

If you are fond of service station too much, then expect and early decay and paling of the paint. Toyota's super white is already not that white and hardly little different from the off white qulfi white.

True..... I've 2003 Mehran in white, which still has about 80% color shine as compared to new Mehran. That's the reason I still don't want to sale it despite getting good offers.
Important thing to mention here is that I've never treated my car with any high tech stuff etc. It's been washed at service stations by using detergent (under my supervision).
But one thing which I've never done or allowed anyone to do is 'Dry Dusting'. Strictly NO DRY DUSTING.
So in short whatever color it is, by proper care and use of high tech products your car's color can last decades!

Thanks to all those who replied to my queries.
I have decided to stick to the old fashioned, time tested manual transmission. Although I do agree that 1.6 AT is better but considering the use of the vehicle by the drivers - who are used to manuals - I am being forced not to sell the Gli MT 1.3. Driving a manual is not bad. In fact I find it more fun to drive in open roads with less traffic.

Yesterday a little girl (beggar) was asking for money while I was in car, meanwhile she was rubbing her fingers on my car's door but she was holding a coin in her hand and she made a 8 mark on the door. I became furious but there was nothing much to do and argue with poor but stupid little girl. On reaching home I used Formula 1 Scratch Out paste and luckily the marks vanished!

I didn't do anything to her. I just asked her 'ye kya kiya?' that too in a mild angry tone. No abuse no nothing.
To cut the story short, I was in a wrong place at a wrong time.

High at post, phir to majboori hi hai; sir aap hi ki gari hai kis aur jaga dent dalna hai to us k liye bhi haazir hai.....

I mostly give them money but sometimes I think that these kids are the workers of higher mafia and are used to feed their bosses so I resist few times.
In my case there where two girls, one was begging and the other was doing her 'karwai'. They didn't give me any time. I was very polite and that's why she became very free.
I guess it's one in a hundred case. May Allah save me from such incidents in future.

Microfiber and others, they use it provided by me with instructions as read on PakWheels and Collinite 476 tin
