Recommended AC by every AC mechanic is General Japan, always. But its very Heavy on Electric Bills ! I mean if it lasts long but on average consumes 4k of electricity / month instead of 2k , then you ll end up paying 10 - 20k more in Electric Bills each year.

People using Haier are satisfied with their billing , so are Mitsubishi people.

If Mitsubishi and Haier dont have much difference in their prices, then for your satisfaction go for Mitsubishi, you had a bad experience with washing machine, thats why.

Thanks quite relax now, yes had a bad experience with that machine.
There is a difference of price in both, mitsubishi 1.5 is for 36.5k while haier 1.5 is 26.5k.

Just asked my younger brother who manages all the billing stuff and according to him haier is economical. But mitsu unit consumes almost 25% less then that of haier. Goodman and that american unit are same as of heir.

Btw, Gree and Haier share same compressor...

@s55, i told you bhai, both my brothers have Haier acs at their homes, they are happy with them remember, first i was telling you to buy General, but General burns so many units, u ll be amazed to see your bills

@charter Ali, if both mitsubishi and Haier have rotaries with same btu then i dont think there will be such a difference of 25% ?

One more thing s55 bhai, dont buy a 1.5 ton if your bedroom's door always remain open, you might burn that 1.5 ton's compressor out. Someone was telling me about his 1 ton (some chinese brand) in a big room its compressor stayed on and on and was burnt , that also a new AC
Whats the size of your lounge ? i suggest a 2 tonner

whats the price of 1 ton Haier nowadays coz I bought two years ago for 15.5 k.
Haier is good but LG is better and Mitsubishi is best!

Basically LG and Mitsubishi are strong ACs and in commercial use big time while Haier is for domestic use only....I've worked in cellular companies and all companies prefer to use Mitsubishi and LG in their cell sites coz they don't break down due to overloading.
But for domestic use Haier is good too coz its cheaper than LG and Mitsu.

Haier 1.5 ton is for 27,700 rupees, new model. He was telling me to buy Panasonic as it is the best AC.
He categorized as follows
1st: Hitachi, Panasonic, General
2nd: Mitsubishi, Samsung, LG
3rd: Haier, PEL, etc
I visited an hour back.

New mitsubishi slim is not good tolde me by the shopkeeper, now you tell me which one to buy? I want the perfect/best cooling not just good. I can pay upto 40k for an 1.5 ton AC but I want no problem in cooling or any malfunction, after sales service etc.
