Here are some bike photos that I took on my visit to Kathmandu in Oct. 2010.I don't have the specs. of these bikes, just random photos.
only 1 photo, wrong corner, start thread in spotted/crashed wheels
Thanks to all.
I believe these all are Indian manufactured
@PunkYes and some are chinese.
very nice spotting , even nepal is better than us due to indian bikes ,whereas we are forced to buy our local crap
I dont think so you cant rate Nepal higher because they have better IMPORTED bikes than Pakistan
Only this bike (shown below) is Chinese made, the rest all are Indian Bikes:
Indian bikes are more popular in Nepal due to their better quality than those cheap bikes.
By the way amjadch, did you get to ride any Indian made bike?
The second bike shown in the above photos, Hero Honda Karizma, was my friends and I rode on the back seat. He is a very cautious and slow driver so I didn't get the feel of the bike at high rpms nor acceleration, etc. Overall, I was pleased to see the variety of bikes available and their features.
Most of the bikes are Indian, I am rather disappointed to see that they don't keep those nice looking machines very neat. How many clean bikes do you see up there, kept with care??
Royal Enfield.. wow.. I see one in above pictures..
