Booking Cancellation Period

Salam,

How much is Honda Booking Cancellation period? I cancelled the booking of City through Honda Canal Bank around 3 weeks ago but still have not got my refund.

reason of cancellation is due to delays, so decide to go for Altis instead

One of my colleague's booked Honda City last weekend and they have given him the time of May .... OMG

It normally takes 3 to 4 weeks BUT as factory was close from last 3, 4 weeks (I am still not sure if factory is open and start production again) that's why your request of cancellation is delay.

I called factory to confirm my cancellation and they told me all request (or anything else) will be processed after 5 Jan. You should call factory for status.

BTW i revert my cancellation because in any case i was not going to get back my money before end of Feb or March, so i prefer to wait for delivery in March... I booked R18(Civic) on 12 Sep and will receive in March ... in 7 months.

Factory date was in Dec (last week of Dec) so if i receive delivery in March (after 60 day delay of given time) I'll get some compensation from Honda Atlis. Yes 7, 8 months is too much.

We (All whose car deliveries are held up) must look up the rule.... If they can't deliver the car in 60 days , they have to pay some compensation money calculated at X% of the total investment made on per month basis. This is except 25,000 vouchers they are offering

I booked in Sep (at that time prices was less around 40K from now) and due date was "last week of Dec". Dealer told me if i receive car more then 60 day delay I'll get 20,000 to 25, 000 amount and service voucher of 20,000. I remember he told me that the model in March will be the same through out 2012... I tired to call factory but didn't get through, will try to get some detail tomorrow or may be visit Honda Center (i booked from Honda Center Pindi).

I don't know but i am still not sure about March... Things are messed up,, its taking toooo much time but there isn't any other option :S

Your's is too long a wait but you must get the compensation 25,000 voucher + compensation for days you waited above 60 and must not compromise on that Period

Yes i have this kinda letter on that date was "last week of dec".. I'll visit Honda Center on Monday and will get complete detail...
Yaaar actually the issue is i can't compromise on Civic, can't even think for something else.. That's why i think is better to wait, and yes I'll get good compensation and new model in old price
I love white, and as you know dealer was giving me Silver in Nov (fully loaded) but i refuse.. I prefer black and then white. Lets hope we will get our rides in end of Feb or March.

Any one can help me that Honda Atlus has increased its prices by about Rs. 50,000 per car. Can they made this increase on the cars already booked and paid fifty percent advance.
